I would like to see a lot of Indians on this interest. There is hardly any Indian who do not have any penchant for our Hindi movies. Though a lot of Indians like Hollywood movies but out of these many will not go to see a Hollywood movie on a threatre by shelling out money. They would love to see only Bollywood movies on threatre. I would like people to talk about latest movies and their reviews about the movies. But please only talk about Hindi movies here. Cheers and enjoy my lotting.

Are these films are dubbed in your local language as well. I really don't know much about that. Yes these films were amazing, they have now becomes legends in Indian cinema and they had won a lot of awards as well. Taare Zameen par was so impressive that Government made that movie tax free. Do you know the true meaning of Taare Zameen par?

Well they were actually subbed, the subtitles were English. I enjoy watching bollywood films especially because of their entertaining musical segments in the movie. Wow didn't know about that, well Taare Zameen Par is Like Stars on Earth in english, right? :). Also, I read somewhere that Taare Zameen Par didn't made it to the Oscars that year, where in Slumdog Millionaire was competing as well, if Taare Zameen Par made it to the Oscars, I am confident it would have a lot of great response and probably awards. Taare Zameen Par is definitely better than Slumdog Millionaire.

Taare Zameen Par was sent to Oscars but it got eliminated in the initials round of Oscars. Oscars are not very fair and square as well. Taare Zameen Par is liked by all Indians and people have great respect for this movie, but because Slum dog millionaire was directed by an English man(belonging to UK), it got preferred.

I think it will change as time goes by. As you know, India creates the most movies every year. And be sure some of them are good movies. In fact I have watched several Indian movies and I found that Indian movies has made a big progress. Especially the movie Three Idiots, I really like it. But sometimes I also think that Indian movies are usually so long. I think some parts can be cut to make the movie shorter.

I know people talk about three idiots a lot but there are so many movies that are typically made for Indian audiences. See the irony, I want Indians to comment but I am getting non Indian replies. I want people to talk about latest Hindi movies and not talking of old but great Hindi movies.
