I've been trying to develop ways to earn $100 or more each day to no avail. But I will keep looking for viable ways to do so. Has anyone here at mylot found such ways or methods to quit their day job.
I know that writing is one of the most realistic ways to earn a living online, there is not a lot of hype about writing, all you do is find a writing site that's willing to pay you for your writings. If you have viable ways to earn greatly do feel free to let me know.

I can make a 100 pennies a day from writing and that's about it. There is actually this group on Facebook for freelance writers and they average 1 dollar for 100 words they write. So that would be a heck of a lot of writing for 100 dollars in a day. That would be 10, 1000 word articles on subjects that probably really don't interest the people writing them. I do not know how they do it because the amount of research alone would take me all day for that. It usually takes me 2 or 3 hours to write one well written article. Plus I have to be interested in the topic or I just draw blanks.

Work for a site like About.com where they pay a retainer sort of fee plus page views. Then freelance on the side for places like Yahoo Contributors until you've got quite a few pieces published, then you'll have a residual income from them. At the same time, look for people who need ghost writing done. There's good money in it if you're careful. Always get a contract on work like that.
It takes hard work and it takes time to build it up, but it can be done.

Well, about.com a writer would have a hard time getting work with this website. With residual income it takes forever to generate enough articles to make it worth while. So, from what I gather there is no one earning a100 dollars a day here.

Earning $100 per day by writing articles is not an easy job. There are some sites that pay up front for good articles but most times they reject articles. Hence you are likely to waste a lot of time by writing articles and getting them rejected. Therefore it is advisable to save time and energy by writing a few articles a day and have all of them accepted for little cash at least.

You're not going to be able to make $100 a day from writing - unless you're very lucky, which some people are (or unless you attract mass amounts of traffic). I have been a writer for 5 years mostly publishing non-fiction articles online and I have published two eBooks - I generally make between $100 to $200 PER MONTH from writing (and publishing). However, I'm at the point that I don't have to do anything to earn this income, it's automatically generated from my content so I can spend plenty time doing other things and earning money elsewhere.

do a search with your question and also with the term "warrior forums" this is a good place to get information. These people will post anything usually. One will purchase a packet of how to make money online, and then post up the contents for free. I've learned lots at warrior forums.

Wish you luck. That may not be possible. I've searched for years. There's a couple sites that pay a bit better you can try. " Guru.com " and " Helium " Good Luck again.

Actually there's more to it than just finding a site that's willing to pay you, you have to be a good writer... an EXEMPLARY writer to make a living ...or any money... at it.
There probably isn't a lot of hype about writing because it isn't that easy. It requires dedication, time, imagination, a good command of the language. There's a lot more to it than just slapping out words on a keyboard.

I am only an aspiring writer and I think I will always do it primarily for joy and not for money.
I have a friend that is a professional writer and recently was given a one week all expenses paid trip to Mexico. Her purpose was to write an article for the people that hired her. She has written several books and has a reputation for delivery. I guess someone saw value in her work enough to pay her. I might add here that writing is not her only job requirement. She also does lectures and a lot of research.

This is a good topic. I am also interested in this. But I think it is very difficulty in making $100 per day. Everybody come here just want to share their interests, discuss with there friends or questions that want to get the help from Mylot. Earn money is not the main purpose. Although I don't always come here. But I enjoy sharing my viewpoints when I saw good topic. Hope you have fun.

About $15 to $20 a day is quite reasonable but it means a lot of hard work even if you join writing sites. You aren't free to write what you want since there are keywords provided. Once you are not particularly familiar about the keyword, you have to research all over the web for a good idea and at the same time make sure that you are able to create a unique and quality article. However, nowadays the trend is for Infographics which provides a lot of income for those who can do research and at the same type have talents in graphic design.

Yes, researching a subject or topic is the most time consuming. This what I'm trying to deveolp a methods where my gathering of revelant content will not take as long. Most of us don't have expertises in graphic design this is why most opt for writing.
Hopefully, I'll find methods that will cut my research considerably. It would be nice if we had a site where writers could share their writing secrets with one another. The amount you qoute is about right for a newbie writer a more seasoned writer can earn a lot more if they have develop a sound writing plan.
