Friends , i just want to share something , it is my first to know that there is this UV kind of umbrellas . I thought before that there was just one kind of umbrella and can be used for any weather , sunny or rainy but no there is this specific kind of umbrella to protect us from skin cancer and they called it as UV umbrella. Wow ! I was really smiling when i read this somewhere , it is my first time to know this thing ! Wow , human being are brilliants , doing everything to fight and prevent us from any form of Cancer. So glad to know this information , this compelled me to buy one especially that is is summer , the sun is bright like its hotness penetrates in our skin . Let us all be health conscious , let us protect ourselves from skin cancer by using UV when going out . it is more expensive than the ordinary umbrella but it's okay it is for health.

First off, there is nothing to protect us from cancer. Some people get it no matter what. I do agree with UV filtering like in sunglasses and I also agree with tanning lotion with a high protective number. But this UV umbrella is something I have never heard of. It must be pretty new. I think it is a good idea. Even though we love the sun we do need protection from it. But remember this, just walking around in the sun is not what gets you, its the time spent on a beach tanning. The sun over many hours will eventually effect you. So we are all self conscious about protecting ourselves. And just to point out, the sun is just as damaging in the winter as it is in the summer. Even on cloudy days the UV rays are still coming through.

I agree even with cloudy days ,UV rays still penetrating. That is why at least if we used that umbrella our skin will be protected because sun's race will be filtered by the UV umbrella.

Some still don't know about it , like me i knew just recently that is why i decided to post this so everybody will be informed . It will protect us from strong heat waves that causes cancer. Health is wealth. never mind spending as long as it is for health and wellness.

Yes it is simple invention but makes a big difference in our body and health. It is a useful souvenir , umbrella being given as a souvenir is a very witty idea. It is a very useful souvenir , more so if it is a UV umbrella. You're selling umbrellas too ? Wow what a wise business , rain or shine we need umbrella.

Hi ! In some big malls like SM they have it . I bought mine there and using it especially that today is summer , the suns so brave like wants to burn our skin. Go and have one , it is a necessity.

That is also my concept before , i really thought am already having a great umbrella but no , some better ones are already in market to keep us free from skin cancer. Let us try using it ..

Well, when it comes to protecting your skin, this is quite important. I know that overall, being able to do this will protect your skin in other ways as well. Especially for those with other health issues as well. Using the correct sun tan lotions, etc helps along with proper clothing etc as well. There are umbrellas that can help this. Just learning what it takes to help you as you get older could save many a lot of money in the long run for sure.

Using umbrella is the most common and cheap way of protecting our skin but a lot of ways are there to protect our skin like what you told us lotions , wearing appropriate clothes , drinking plenty of water and eating fresh fruits and vegetables.

UN umbrella is not something new any more. It has been available for a few years. I am not interested in it since I am a lazy person. I will only bring my umbrella when it rains dogs and cats outside. As to preventing from the UV of the sunshine, I don't want to carry my umbrella. I don't mind having the sunshine and even suntan. After all, my skin will turn white again in winter

I haven't heard of this either.
I can say that this is helpful especially during summer.
I think I need to research on this one- and hope this is not too expensive (hehehe)

I'm not entirely surprised that something like this came out. Umbrellas were originally designed to protect people from the sun, not the rain. This is a cool invention though, since UV rays can damage our skin and cause us skin cancer, as you mentioned.

Oh first time to know that umbrella were made for sun protection and not for the rain. In my mind , i really thought it was made for both purposes . So good to interact in Mylot , our knowledge would be added.

Yes , there are really people who can never go out without an umbrella , as if they can never be complete without an umbrella inside a bag. This is such a good ritual for skin would be protected always and here now new inventions in surface , to surely shield us from very strong rays of the sun, Indeed human being are so talented and gifted.
