The Past Few Nights...

Every night lately I have been having dreams about my worst fears. I don't remember thinking about these things any time recently but I keep having dreams of things I fear. The first night I had a dream that someone came into the house and had a gun, trying to rob us. The second night I had a dream that the Social Worker was trying to take our kids away again. The third night I was on top of a cliff and someone pushed me off, I woke up right before I hit the ground! The fourth night I had a dream that I was pregnant with a 4th child-that was a bad dream only for the fact that there is no way in creation we can afford another child! Tonight will be the fifth night, I REALLY hope it is nothing else I fear! I just wonder why and what brought all of this on...Hopefully tonight will either be a good dream or at least not one I fear! It is the weirdest thing ever, never happened to me before in my life...

What is going on in your life you are fearful of or having a problem with? I would do some meditation before you go to bed. Visual the positive aspects of these things. And something nice you would like to transpire.

I don't really feel worried about anything at the moment... I don't know what it was but last night I prayed before bed and I didn't have a bad dream! The other nights I forgot to pray and it might have bothered me even in my dreams...

I did sleep well last night, I prayed before bed and I didn't have a bad dream! I am so glad. I didn't think about it before but the days I had bad dreams I fell asleep before praying.

These dreams definitly seem to indicate that you are in a position where you feel vulnerable and perhaps you fear losing control of the situation, and losing control of your life. If you have been going through a lot of stress lately, perhaps this is all showing up in your dream life. I would think that once you are in a calmer state ( both physically and emotionally ) bad dreams wont be paying you such visits. At least I hope they wont! Good luck with all your ventures and hope you have a restful sleep tonight!

Our fears often reflect in our dreams. I suggest that you entertain more of good or positive thoughts. If you believe in prayers, pray hard before you sleep tonight. Fill your minds with gratitude tonight while you are praying. That way, you only leave all the positive and beautiful thoughts in your mind about everything good that are happening in your life. Hope you'll have a good and restful sleep tonight.

That is true, I have just never had them back to back like this... It is so weird. I definitely do pray so I will just have to pray for God to please not let me have another bad dream tonight. And your right, I do need more positive thoughts. :) Thank you, I hope I have a good dream tonight!

Hi, LovingMyBabies! I think, it has something to do with your apprehension on your new business. I know that you are happy and excited with it but maybe at the back of your mind you are thinking of some negative things like: what if it does not become successful. or will you be able to deliver your services the way that your customers expect, etc. I say, just relax and breathe in all the positive air around you!

I don't know if it was the business but last night I did not have a bad dream, or at least I don't remember it anyway. :) I prayed before I went to bed and I realized I forgot to do that the last few nights before last night. That was the only thing different that I did.

Sorry to hear that you have been having those dreams. Yeah the first three are really awful. And then I understand not wanting to have another child because having children is expensive. I hope that tonight you will be able to sleep without any terrifying dreams.

Sometimes when we are asleep our subconscious comes into play, things that we have suppressed either when we were younger, or current issues we have had, it's our minds way of processing them, usually it's things that are going on in our life, past or present which haven't had full closure. It's kind of like a mischievous gremlin who comes alive when we are asleep and plays out these scenarios and it plays on our fears. I hope these dreams subside and you can have a peaceful night. I know my last lot of antidepressants used to give me nightmares based on my past. Therapy can often open up stuff that we have long forgotten about, and boy did it open up a pandoras box of nightmares when I first started, flashbacks and triggers. I don't have many bad dreams now, fortunately, and if I do I usually forget them when I wake up. Dreams are complex things, as to is our minds!

Maybe you are pregnant and this is your body's not so subtle way of telling you it's not as bad as you think?

I hope the 5th night passed without any bad dreams! I too have this recurring dream about being in a violent accident. It isn't every night, more like every other week, but it's always the same theme. It freaks me out all the time. If your bad dreams continue, you should do what I do, I just pray.

You Obviously have these things on your mind. What you probably did was push them deep inside you subconscious and forgot about them for a while. Now they are coming out in dreams. So they still are bothering you deep down. You need to confront these fears and try to eliminate them from your life once and for all. You also have to think positive. Look, things are going good for you now and thats why you are having these dreams.

I also hope that you can sleep deeply and don't have any kind of scary dreams. I think you need to relax, but I don't know if that is possible, because you have to take care of your family. Maybe you don't have any free time. But it would be good if you try to do some excercises that can relax you. Many people have also nightmares. Anyway I expect you are going to control your fears and things will be better for you.

It is crazy lately. Before this I have never dreamed of things I fear like that. And never back to back every night either. Just really strange! I have had a bad dream now and then before but never every single night... I hope they stop soon too, thanks!

Maybe you're stressed and exhausted these past few days thats why you're dreaming about not good dreams. I dream bad whenever I am stressed and worrying about something. Try to relax and stick with positive things around you.

I have been stressed the past few days so maybe that is all it is... I prayed last night before bed and I didn't have a bad dream so I am grateful for that much!

You must have things going on in your life, that it is in your subconscious. Sometimes stress will bring things out. I hope your dreams were better tonight.

Hopefully your night was restful. I think maybe dreaming like that is just a way our bodies release our stresses sometimes. I have noticed times when I have more negative dreams when I am really stressed out.

It sounds like your brain is trying to tell you that your worried to much about things so there for what you dream is what your scared of happening to you. It happens when some people are worried or even just stressed about things.
