Using Search Tool and Answering Random Discussions

There is nothing wrong to respond or comment on discussions started years ago. You might not get a comment back if the OP is no longer active. But by posting on them, the discussions get to be on the 'recent' tab and some other members might also be interested in it and post their responses or comments too. I am not sure what kind of 'limit' for using the search tool is. I suppose when we get a 'warning', then that's when myLot considers us abusing the search tool. So it is best not to ignore such warning.

Nothing wrong with that. I actually make use of the search bar , too to look for past discussions which could be interesting to respond to.

Just a thought about this. If we find something that has really great information in it then it may benefit others as well. But if it is not so informative and maybe even involves people who are no longer active in Mylot it maybe not be as interesting to others? One thing about current topics is that there are more "live" interactions going on?

You can use the search bar and find the random topics to place your reply. You can win random rewards based on your search. Don't do frequent searches in a day, it will spoil your account.

Yes you can do this. I suggest it too when you're not finding anything recent to respond to. As far as I know there is not a limit to the amount of times in one day you can use the search tool. Its a matter of how quickly in a row, you will then get a message to tell you that it is causing problems. You'll always get a message if myLot thinks you're searching too much. When that happens then just stop using the tool. I've found many a good discussion this way. Of ocurse usually I don't get a response back from any one if it is too old. It can cause a chain reaction of discussion again, that is always a fun thing.

Hi friend, why you doing this, looking for some topics to discuss than you say what your thoughts right now? I think you use this community just for money and you never enjoy the discussion. I think you will tired that you just use this community for money. It is a good idea if you put this community as your place to share and take some knowledge. Have a nice day.

Hi money lots: I think this could be a good strategy but you could also have a good performance on the site, simply by selecting the interests that you like the most. This will be helpful for you and you will focus on the things that you like and could give your best answers. At the same time, there's nothing wrong on answering an old discussion. The only thing you have to care about is for the quality of your answers. ALVARO

I wondered the same thing since other none paying forums give u a time ban if you necro. Here you may reply to anything.
