To think on bible verse

You know, there are many, many verses in the Bible that ask you to think. Have you read much of the Bible? Because if you have, you would have discovered that it's a book filled with many, many things besides things that require faith to believe. There are stories that teach lessons, wisdom that provides for daily life and challenges that make us better people, among other things.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Also many times in the Bible we are told not to be deceived.... Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
