In my dream, I was so bad to a cleaning lady, I woke up so guilty!!!

I don't need to define all the images that I saw or else, I myself would not understand the whole dream anymore. Anyway, I was back in high school again. A friend and I were looking for some particular glass jars to put some dry food in for a fund raising or something like that. We asked the cleaning lady if it was alright to lend us some. She immediately said it was against school regulation for students to use this. She instead gave us boxes. On our search for empty jars, we saw two, filled with expired goods so we tried emptying them and the cleaning lady saw. Again, she quickly confiscated them from us. We were so angry and started showing how we despised her. We were giving her names. I would pretend pitching a baseball on her face. She was so new yet so strict. But she seemed to not mind and just continued working. She then finished working and went to a room to kneel down and pray, then i saw tears coming out from her closed eyes. I was so moved, so I went to hold her hand. She said, how cruel we were. She also had an experience with another talented soprano student who just gave her, a "what do you know" look when she said she was not allowed to join a particular production. It sounds nothing now that I am writing about it. Her face is still so clear in my mind though. I just realized that maybe that lady is me who thinks too straight all the time. I usually don't give a lee way. For me, wrong things will always be wrong. But reality is not like that. There are more gray areas.

In your dreams it seems you want to broke a rule, and the lady don't allow you to broke that rule. Maybe your dreams reflects your attitude in you real life, in your dreams it is really "You" and the lady represent the "rule" you know rule is always a rule, no matter what happen it is a rule. There are some situation in your life that you want to broke a rule for the sake of others, actually you have soft and caring heart, but you had a temper that can not be easily controlled by you, but the time you were able to compose or recover in that particular situation, the kind personality of you prevails. You have also an authoritarian kind of personality and impulsive, you speak what's on your mind and you want it to be followed. Like for example you give a specific command to others you want to be done without thinking that it was wrong, and you later realize it was wrong when it is already happened. It is hard for you to accept the idea of others, for you know your idea is right, but you don't want to balance the idea of other people and your idea. You don't want to be distracted when you already made your decision, even though the idea of the other might can help. Anyway i'm not a dream interpreter, i just state my opinion about your dream, actually your dream is a heart touching dream.

Nice interpretation! You really have good point here. Ideally I want rules to be followed. I really hate people not following rules but I do break it if the one who made it or making me follow it is the number one culprit. I did this a lot in silence. I don't like hurting anyone so I always see if I would be the only one who receives the consequence of my action. That is why I guess, I went to hold the lady's hand because she suffered on my behalf. Everyone has his or her own temper. Thanks for your sensible response jonastabuena.:)

To me, the strongest dream symbol (you are sending yourself) is the anger.. If you quietly contemplate, I'm sure you will know what this anger is about.. Then, you feel sorry for the anger.. You would rather be beattitudinous (word?). Perhaps things demanding too much of your time away from attaining this beatitudedness is what is making you angry.. no wait! that's me!
