I Love You is not a question !!!

I do not understand why people answer for a statement i love you with either yes or no. It is not a question at all. It's just compliment....

It's a statement, not a question wanting an answer. It's a fact, not an opinion. Only you know how you feel about anyone and always when telling someone that you love them, remember to put the "I" in front of the statement.

Indeed it shouldn't be a question, the problem is that when someone says it they want to hear it back or it can be very hurtful, you know, to love but not being loved back.
