No More Pain For Kessa

It was a hard thing to do but this morning I had my dog put to sleep. She had congestive heart problems, respiratory problems, among other medical problems. The time came to put her to rest and out of pain. My son took it real hard as Kessa was his dog first. But there comes a time when a person has to set aside their feelings and do what is best. She is in doggy heaven and having fun with all the others.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is to put down a dog. We had to do that a few times in our life here. I will never forget the Beagle and the Husky we had. And just recently my evil ex made my son get rid of his Beagle because her boyfriend didn't like it. They did not put her to sleep, they took her to an adoption place. But it was hard on my son and I totally understand. Now they are looking to get rid of the cat. I think this guy she is with is an @ss. I don't think what she did was fair to my son. And I know he will hold some resentment toward her for this. I know I would have if I were him.

It is sad that your ex did that. How long had the dog been with your son? Some people don't want anything around that reminds them of their girlfriend/boyfriends history with them. Kids usually pay for those things. How are you doing?

The dog was with my sone for like 3 years. but when she moved her bozo boyfriend into the house, she started complaining about the dog so she went along with him and got rid of the dog. That was not right at all. That guy should have no say at all. My son will never forget that as long as he lives. I know him. Even though he says it don't bother him, I know it does. The evil ex is an @ss and a moron. She sides with her boyfriend over the kids. Thats totally wrong. And everyone in her family already told her its wrong. But she don't want to hear it.

Aww Sandy, I know that was so hard on both you and Carl. So sorry to hear it. Poor Kessa sounds as if she had lots of problems. I am quite sure she is watching ya'll and cherishing the memories of your love. Hugs to ya!

She was well loved and had a very good life with you. I am sure she is much better off not having to deal with the pain. Hugs to you.

I am so sorry! I remember when I had to put my Misty to sleep and although I knew it was best for her, it was very hard for me to part with her. Maybe your Kessa, if she was half as wonderful as my Misty, will get to know her in doggy heaven

Thank you, marguicha. It is hard but it is always best. When a pet is suffering it is best to say good-bye and let them go. She was a great friend and companion. It is funny how so many people talk bad about Pit Bulls but Kessa was liked by everyone that met her. She is dearly missed by many, young and old. I sure hope her and Misty meet in doggy heaven.

I know that velvet. But I still have a special folder for Misty`s pictures and I watch them once in a while. She belongs to my loved ones who parted.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. That is so sad when you lose any pet. You did the best thing for your dog.
