Here is the new volkswagen XL 1, only available in Europe, with 2 person capacity. It seems sporty on the road, but it is a truly fuel - efficient. I like the idea of been able to run up to 235 mpg. The rumor say, it runs 30 some miles initially on electric, and then turn into a hybrid of electric and gasoline burning. Just think of it, it might be 70 cents per gallon, and you can save a lot of money from the gas pump. It is not available in U.S. market yet, but it is on the market in Europe. I hope that we all embrace the concept of saving money, and less rely on foreign oil.
