How can I get java updates?

I have may laptop and using internet but often software don't run on my laptop and a message appear that java updates not available. I want java updates to solve my laptop issue.Is anybody knows about that how can I download java updates please guide me? I am much worry about it. It become a problematic for me.

Download install the latest version of the both web browser and Java and see what happens.

Go to java website: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp Download the latest version of java: Version 7 Update 17 After download: Remove the old version of java After removing the old version: Install the new version
