I want to lose weight

I hope to get some working ideas I am a young mom ( My mom says but I disagree). I really wanted to look slim and adult but not old. After I gave birth last 2008 in a Cesarean operation I weighed 52kilos. I gained 7 kilogram from my regular weight. I felt I could easily lose weight after that because I am going to be under pressure from babysitting. However, I gained another 4 kilograms. I thought it was because I had eaten a lot of foods which were essential for breastfeeding since we were a bit working for producing milk for the baby. Opposing to what we expected, I wasn't able to sustain my breastfeeding due to lack of milk. I suffered for two weeks. And my weight never slowdown to 40s. Now I am weighing around 56-60 kilograms. I tried "no rice" but I couldn't stand it. I lose but I got headaches. I seldom perspires because I always have to sit in front of my computer for online teaching. Oh my.. I want to lose weight and get a flat tummy again.

I had the same problem. I took long walks and drank lotsof water. Worked for me here.

I always drank a lot of water and it made me think again, isn't it the water that made my tummy big?

Sometimes, I get that feeling as well.Maybe you need some kind of water pills.

well sometimes we cannot control our weight. it could be our lifestyle and eating habit. have you tried taking coffee after eating your meal? they say it could burn the fats immediately. I always do this not because I'm concern with my weight but just because it became my habit. most of the times my breakfast is only a cup of coffee. I also have a regular exercise in a week. maybe this is the reason why I have a slim body. Maybe you can try to eat small amount of food daily but gradually to help your body get used to it.

I agree, exercise would make us feel better and toned. I need to learn how to include exercise in my daily routine.

I had my baby boy born in May 2007. I lost the pregnancy weight that time around due to being fit and healthy. Then I had my baby girl born in June 2009. I was so ill and weak after she was born. It took me months to recover. I kept the weight after that pregnancy and it was hard to shift once I was well again. I went to see a health adviser and she weighed me. My body mass index was 29 and she gave me vouchers to visiting a gym for eight sessions. I liked the sports center so much I joined it when they had a open day and reduced memberships. I lost four kilos of weight traveling around South America in March and April last year. I am maintaining a body mass index of 23 now. I go to Zumba dancing. Years ago I kept trim by cycling. I would say have some rice but exercise afterwards. Good luck.

minimize carbohydrates from your diet and totally cut soda plus include exercise in your routine. all these works for me.

Getting time to do exercise is really hard for me because I worked at home and so every idle time I continued my pending household chores...So I'd love to go to bed when I am so tired.

Oh dear, i can understand your situation very well and i know u must be worried about your weight issues. i know after delivering babies many woman tend to have fluctuating weights and that becomes a cause of concern for them. all i want u to do is stay on a balanced diet filled with fruits n vegetables n do not starve yourself at all.

Hi! Don't punish self with no rice , have it but a small amount only . You need to discipline yourself. Cut off from those sweets , from cakes , ice cream to softdrinks and have a regular exercise to burn those calories . All it takes to have a successful losing of weight is by having that self discipline.

Drink a lot of water. Sip two tbsp of apple cider vinegar before every meal. you will lose permanent weight in this but it will take longer period of time. Just eat egg as a snack or if you fill hungry. Just eat cabbage soap in dinner. You can substitute rice by fruits and green leafy vegetables.

oh I remembered, i tried to steam cabbage and eat it with fish ; no rice at all. wow great! you made me remembered it.. i'll be trying to get used to it.
