Too good to be true

When a site is too good to be true, it is probably not true at all. As an example you can see an attached picture from one of the sites I was considering joining as a test site but when you see that 1 us dollar has the same value as 1 euro you start wandering if it is even worth wasting time trying to find more info about it.
There are so many scams out there and probably the most annoying, that I come across at traffic exchange and ptc sites are the ones where they have this amazing opportunity for you to make hundreds of dollars just by selling a package you will be buying from them for 2, 10 or 99 or who knows what (discounted) sum of money - but they are so obvious I wonder why the bother, especially when their payment proof only include fake or really not so smart people that only sent money for this "amazing" package to sell. This is considered a pyramid scheme and illegal in Romania at least (and I am sure that in other countries as well).
Have you encountered other scams out there worthy to be mentioned ? I remember I had a discussion about another site where you could play the lottery for just 1 cent and the 1st prize was 1 cent

I encountered a few scam sites in my early on line earning activity- I don't even remember the names right now. If you ask me more than 90% of the sites are scams. We just have to learn how to avoid them- mostly we learn from our experience. A place like mylot also helps us to identify the scam sites
You managed to caught a nasty detail on their site. Bravo!!!

i agree with pandora ,there are many scams online and we will always be tricked by them i think, but the thing is ;if we dont try we cant understand which site is good, which one is bad.
we will try ,we will be dissapointed by them and day by day we will finally find out the good and paying sites, like i found out mylot.
i was thinking also is a scam, but then i got the rules ,i understood here so i can understand how trustfull this site is.
i cant say mylot gives lots of money to us,but at least it pays
happy mylotting

Hi Elitess, I wonder who will accept that 1 Euro is the same as a dollar.
I think there is definitely something wrong with the site.
Better to find those well established sites with good record of payment.
It is better to earn less than to risk losing all earnings.
I am not usually the person who tries out new sites, because I rather get paid than to have a site that claims to pay, but hardly anyone gets paid.

Hi elitess,
You're so right about these sites being too good to be true. Everyone who is surfing the internet today must be made aware that "if the website appears or seems to be too good to be true then it's probably too good to be true". Use common sense and stay away from such sites or face regret later.

Did it specify that it was an American dollar:) Actually even the Aussie $ doesn't trade on parity with the euro so it doesn't matter, unless they have martian dollars:) That should be worth more than the euro though haha.
Yes lots of scams out there, most don't even bother putting in effort to make it look good or believable though so you can usually smell out from a mile away.

I think most probably direct marketing and network marketing are not good and network marketing one cannot earn as much money as they say. Most probably there is a higher chance of losing money than earning money. Also there are lots of fakes in the internet.

If we first look at the over all sites and its description, well, it depends on us of what we perceive on them. If we feel that its not quite right and there is something wrong about it, why do we have to waste time looking for the site's information. Although, a little bit research is also good to be safe
