I really cannot stand the extreme heat. Even though I steadied the fan to me and even put it into three, I still felt the heat. Even though at night, I still felt warm. I really felt bad with the present temperature. Do you feel this also? The heat is superb!

Try living in las vegas in the usa. I did for 11 years. Summers got to 115-120 degrees there. I hated it there.

Las vegas is very hot and dry. On those hot days the fire dept. are out all over town handing out bottled water to people on the streets.

Terrible heat, indeed! That is why I went to Dairy Queen an hour ago to buy me and my son a serving of Oreo Cheesecake and Caramel Moolatte. Now, at home, i have managed to gulped down almost a liter of water!

Weird as it may seem, but I really do not like halu-halo that much. I can eat it if I am forced to do it, but if I would want to eat something cold, it would really be ice cream.

That is delicious. I love to eat Halo-halo for this very tremendous heat condition. It will definitely cool me off a little bit. Additionally, water would be very helpful nowadays to fight against this heat.

Yes, and i have to take a bath 3 times a day, i'm sure our water bill is high again, i just notice, it is more hotter this year compared to the past year, i'm afraid about the old ones to much heat will cause heat stroke, lucky those people who live in provinces they will not suffer more heat compared to the city because of the tress around them, and polluted air in the city can also be cause of hot air.

I really fond of living in our province. There are many trees there which definitely help in shading this extreme heat. Additionally, there is cool breeze in our province. I really didn't felt so much heat before than I felt now. This is too much. I really looked forward to have some break from my busy schedule so that I could cool off a little by going in our hometown; in our great and peaceful province.

I shower three to four times each day and change t-shirts hour on the hour, LOL. Heat? Oh yes, thought I was having aneurysm so I applied an ice pack on my head this morning. We can never be too careful with this tremendous heat.

Even though I shower several times, it had still no effect though. The water also is warm. This heat is painful. I cannot sleep peacefully at night because of this unbearable heat. I think I am going crazy with this heat.

Hi,
If there is one thing I hate about the weather, it is the extreme heat. I can tackle anything as long as it is done in cool temperatures, heat robs away my energy, leaving me weak and lethargic. One thing I always welcome the cooler months when the rains come, I wish it could snow but that is just impossible here under the circumstances.

I so much hate also this heat. Just like yours, it also drained my energy. It makes me pissed off with what I am working. I cannot focus on doing stuffs here in our house. I really love cooler months also. Hope to have it soon or much better now.

This heat gives me dizzy feeling. Yes, I really do agree with you that it is too much to bear. It is really aweful and it is my first time to feel such terrible heat. It seemed my body is melting.

I'd love to lie on a hammock under the shade of a big tree one summer afternoon and enjoy a cool glass or better a pitcher of lemonade or cucumber shake while reading a good book or maybe even doze off.

That would be very cool. I hope to do that also this summer. Imagining you doing that envy me. I shall do that also. But hey, where are the trees here in the crowded city. I really hope to spot some.

My daughter who arrived from Manila where she studies the other day, said that it's much better here in the province than there.
She said that here the heat is milder. Even when it's brownout for an hour , she managed to bear it without getting so sweaty.
Well, that's because in our place we are still surrounded by lots of trees.

I very much agree with your daughter. Also in our province, I love the cool breeze there. I cannot feel extreme heat also in our province. I really hope I could go there to cool for a while. It is a wonderful place there since it is still also surrounded by many trees and some pond around. I am very busy lately that is why I am presently in the city and not in the province.

I just showered and even water coming out from the pipe is still hot!, water pressure is also quite low in our subdivision so I took a pail that had water standing by for quite sometime so it's cooler and poured my self water using an old plastic dipper , I also turned on the bathroom exhaust fan while doing so, so all the humidity and heat my body was emitting would be blown out to the ceiling

Perhaps, I belong to a minority who is not negatively affected by the summer heat, stifling though it is. I simply love the present temperature more than I would the cold. I don't feel uncomfortable even without electric fan or aircon. I simply open all the windows and allow the fresh air in as well as dress in comfortable clothes . Even my body system prefers the heat more than the cold since I feel more active and alert. However, this won't last for long since in a few months time will be the rainy season.

That is very good for you. I really hope to adapt your present condition. Even I open here all the windows, it is still very hot. The fan and aircon were really great tools in dealing this too much heat. I am just quite concerned with my electric bill though.

What is your work? Heat indeed affects people's works. Many could not function well in their work because of this dreadful and painful heat. I wonder how will you handle your work in the field with this present condition. We definitely have no choice but to accept it though.

I can't believe I am saying this but I sort of miss the heat there. But just for a bit. Right now it is still a bit chilly but it wasn't as bad as it was a couple of weeks ago. I am looking forward for some warmer wether but I am sort of dreading it as well because my family here (I just moved here) says that summers here go from 90 at the minimum.

We are of complete opposite. I do look forward for a cold weather here. I really do since I really felt sick with this extremely warm temperature. How I wish this heat would lessen even though for just a little bit.

I really need to go to beaches and resorts. I think and I really hope it could cover this heat that surrounds me. I still have no plans of going though momentarily because I am very busy. I recently drowned myself into the pool but only for an hour. It has no effect though.

There is such a thing as a happy medium when it comes to weather. I have experienced very hot weather in Israel and Jordan during August 1998 and in Darwin, Australia in January 1994. Those were summer in the Middle East plus the wet and hot season in the Northern Territory. In Jordan I had a lovely time staying on a flat roof. It was much nicer that staying in a room. I live in England and it has a temperate climate. Only overseas can be spend time in hot places. My ideal temperature is 30 degrees C. I like it hot and dry. Extreme heat can be a challenge like in Darwin.

I just liked staying in my room presently. That is to avoid the extreme heat outside. But then again, I really felt hot here. I just went also on malls to cover this heat. I think malls are great escape.
