Are (Technicolor Dreamcoat) Joseph's Bones Still Buried in Egypt?

When Joseph was 110 years old & -was on his deathbed, he "took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, G*d will surely visit you, and ye shall carry my bones from hence." (Genesis 50:25) But Genesis 50:26 says that his body was put in a coffin in Egypt, and I don't remember them mentioning anything about 'the Hebrews "eviscerating" the body of Joseph from its tomb when they left Egypt.' So where are Joseph's bones now?

A good reference Bible will have cross references and so in the margin of Genesis 50:26 would be the cross reference to Exodus 13:19, which says that upon Israel beginning the exodus from Egypt - "Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he" (Joseph) "had placed the children of Israel under solemn oath, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here with you.” Note on Israel being intact so long.. centuries later Hebrews could still name their tribe..

Or does 'Indiana Jones Jr. (Henry Jones III)' have to find out for us?

http://bible.cc/joshua/24-32.htm (particularly the Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary) give us a place for 'Indy Jr.' to start "... The tomb that now covers the spot is a Mohammedan Welce, but there is no reason to doubt that the precious deposit of Joseph's remains may be concealed there at the present time."

An even better reference bible will also quote Joshua 24:32. As Mythociate said on 26/4/13 ...
