Are scholarships even worth the time?

You can get a scholarship for sure, just pray hard and study hard... do your best and let God do the rest that you are not able to do.... just put your faith in Him and don't lose hope in everything that you do because faith is the very important things to make certain of what you are hoping for... God will surely help those who call on him and those who never stop believing! God bless the works of your hands!

I understand also. I apply each year and so far nothing. I will continue to apply because you just never know. One of my classmates said sometimes if you are in the first year you might not get anything. So now that I am in my second, I'll apply all over again. Hang in there and try even if you don't get it the first few times.

you need lots of hard work and perseverance in order to succeed. don't lose hope. i suggest that you apply in all scholarship programs that you know of, take their exams (if any), and prepare yourself for an eventual interview. if you won't try, you won't get anything. this is a sure fact.

I understand your pain o2bnocn. My senior year in highschool last year they made up spend hours applying for scholarships on national sites and i don't think any of us got any from them Your best bet is look for local scholarships. You'd be surprised at how many local churches and businesses have scholarships. Whether it's $500 or $5000 it all counts, trust me. Good luck!
