Politicians Courting to be Voted

I'm a bit curious about our politicians. Most politicians court the voters only on campaign period while in fact they have been given years in public service to prove themselves worthy. They mostly come out only on campaign period wooing for the support of their constituents.
Have you observe the same?

Well, every morning this political jingles are waking me up.
I also wonder why they need to campaign when in fact they're already in politics for many years.
Does it mean they're not worth to be voted again (huh- just wonder)
I am sure voters are wise- they will vote their bet without or without the campaign materials/actions done.

I agree with you ms.jaiho...I guess, it was a brilliant idea that the government (COMELEC in particular) will be responsible in informing the citizens of who are the candidates by providing a common place to post the pictures and names of ALL the candidates. Then there will no personal campaigns. That is also a fairer way of campaign for all candidates.
