Everybody wants it. Everybody loves it. Will everybody works for it?
World peace is becoming a global issue. Considering the different uprisings in some parts of the Middle East, Africa and the current tension in the Korean peninsula, world peace is what everybody wishes to have.
Is world peace really possible? How?

I think it is possible but it is very difficult, because many people think about their ego, although they want and love peace. It is an irony that is difficult to solve, I think.

It is easier said than done. Really, even if we all want to have peace, some people wouldn't just want to easily give up on certain things for power. And that is the reason behind wars.

It it is possible if we have unity and contented of what we have, most people were craving for power for some reason, and that's the reason why there is no peace they want authority and be more higher than other. I don't understand about this attitude, when i think of this i resist to laugh, they want power, they want to be will known, and will in fact what they possess in this world can not be brought by them to the grave. I don't have any idea what's inside their mind. I'm praying for peace ever since, but greedy people really exist and there's nothing we can do about it. All we can do is pray pray pray pray for peace. Though it seems so impossible to achieve.

If we want world peace, we must first begin with ourselves. We must start from the ground - up, not just look at the symptoms you list & try to patch things up, but address the cause. We're all a part of this earth, just like a drop is a part of the ocean. We need not search anywhere outside ourselves for peace because peace is within each of us, so we must try to find the way to experience this inner peace for ourselves & contemplate upon it each day as often as time allows. We spend too much of our time paying attention to that which shows the universe that we don't want peace, but something else; so that's what we get. That which we have sown, we now harvest. We planted orange seeds, we nurtured them & now we're picking fruit... oranges!
Such a world peace may not be realised in our lifetimes, but it is something that we can all aspire to. Every effort towards this ideal does make a difference. A lasting difference, so long as we persevere. 'Like energies' do attract & so some parts of the world will seem more peaceful than others at any one time. And we might, we just might, make some sort of lasting peace of sorts, should it be the will of the majority of the people on this earth.

Hi,
I think world peace is impossible. No one is thinking about the peace in the world. Everyone thinks about getting better position for himself and competing with others for becoming world power. Man people want to rule the world and don't want to live peacefully in the world and also disturb others peace also.
