This is one reason why I don't loan things,to people because they put it down, and walk away with out it, and then someone else gets it, and then you have to buy another one, you are right it's all your sister fault, never loan anything to her, ever again she is very careless with things.

I did lost my pendrive a year ago and was very worried as there are a lot of private and important information in it. I had learnt the lesson and my daughter gave me a new pendrive. She helped me to set the password in the pendrive. So, if ever I lost it again at least I will not that worry.

Have you tried going back and asking if someone found it and turned it in to the lost and found there? I know it might be a long shot but people sometimes will surprise you with their honesty. For instance here in the U. S. a woman accidentally handed a homeless man her diamond ring when she gave him some lose change. He hung onto it and gave it back to her when she discovered a few days later what must have happened and returned looking for him.

If the old man who is take care that cybercafe found it I think he will keep it but if the other found it I think they will steal it.

Aw, this is it- one reason why I don't like my personal use borrowed by the others. My son also lost my pendrive with all my personal files saved. I am so pissed and so mad because all my articles and columns posted on my writing sites are saved for future references.

Hey akamarukei, it's really bad that you ahve lost your pendrive. I have lost mine about twice and so i can totally undrestand your feeling right now. Apart from your resume, anything else important or private inside?

Ohhhh my God really this is big loss because if other person watch our document or photos means not good but you should ask the cybercafe owner or persons who is sitting there but now innocent persons is not in world. Ask politely to your sis may be she put on any place and forget or may be you forget. Dont anger more otherwise she will cry like me

I think most probably your sister should try to go back and get the pendrive. Some people are nice and most probably will give the pendrive back.

you should call her and tell her that you need your pendrive right away. certain kinds of documents, like a resume, can be hard to just come by again.

That's dangerous. Someone could get your personal information and troll you or something. One time I left my sd card in a computer shop as well. I haven't found it it since then but I asked the shop owner if he saw an sd card there. He said he didn't. It's a very small memory card, if you're not aware of how it looks like. It can easily get lost anywhere. The good thing is I still don't have any files there. The bad thing is it's a 16GB memory card, so it's still a loss.
