Is there any advice for how to lose weight? My idea that: Eat less, move more and break a sweat is the best way to lose weight. What about your experience in this topic?

Eating habits have to be changed for life, not just for the diet. Water is very important. Getting any toxins out of the body and that includes fatty stuff. I found that eating smaller meals helped. Five to six small meals daily keeps the metabolism going. Fruit and coffee helps me first thing in the day to get the system running. I think if you deprive yourself of things you are going to have a problem sticking with any diet. You need to work on portion control and moderation. For instance if you like chips eat some but instead of eating them right out of the sack put some in a (small)bowl and just eat that amount. And parking further away and climbing stairs instead of taking the elevator. And changing your plates to smaller ones makes you think you are eating more but you aren't. Tricking yourself helps too. LOL

I Completely agree with you: 2 liters of water a day Eating habits have to be changed for life: Breakfast should be made ??up of things that give us energy, and this because we go to our business immediately after. We try to minimize the fast food that we eat at lunch. We must not go to sleep immediately after dinner. And also I like your idea very much that: Parking further away and climbing stairs instead of taking the elevator. And changing your plates to smaller ones makes you think you are eating more but you aren't.

Change our habits: I know people, use their car permanently, even in places close to them. Yes we must change our habits.

And don't get too frustrated if you hit a plateau. It's normal and you need to change it up a little to get past the plateau. Whatever you are doing just change the routine a little.

often i used to cut my meals and end up starving. It was effective though but i got tired of my routin. So, what i did, i invited a friend to become my exercise buddy. We jog 6 kilometers, 3 times a week . And it was fun. My body toned and i feel so light and heathy, and i don't have to cut my meals.

Running Sport is one of the most useful things on the subject of public health. But you should know that everything has rules, known by specialists.

Personally I think that the best way to lose weight is a combination of more than one thing. I like to combine healthy food and the right amounts of food with exercise. I love sweet things like candy, cake and soft drinks and when I decided to lose weight those eating habits were the first thing that I decided to adjust. I still love sweet things and it is very hard to me to avoid those kinds of food completely so instead of avoiding them completely I have decided that I am allowed to eat candy and drink soft drinks in the weekends. The rest of the time I drink water and avoid candy. I also try to get extra exercise and I walk instead of driving by car if the place where I am going is within walking distance.

hi, Porcospino: Something great and wonderful, and I would like to add that we must avoid eating in front of the TV, which would not control the amount we eat. And also we must be aware of the amount of calories that you should eat during the day, and the content of what we eat of these calories.

Hi, Taheraa, the hard thing to do is to keep up the motivation. My father can lose some kilograms in a week, but, after some days, he eats sweets and fats back and gains weight again. Many people fail doing a diet or keeping their low weight. Because of habits, temptation, feel of a lack. It's like fighting an addiction. It requires discipline, activity, motivation. Many people go to a support group and support each other. This is a big part of the diet. Can you survive a week without eating a sweet candy ? I maybe can, but, the moment I put my hands on cookies, I will get a craving and eat many. This is how my addiction to sugar goes. I personally eat fruits and maybe sweet potatoes to get the sweet and still eat healthy. Our health office tells about the food pyramid that refined sugar like candies and sweet drink are things we can skip. Fat food like butter, oil we are supposed to eat few. Protein food like meat, milk, fish...we are supposed to eat. Vegetables and fruits are are supposed to eat even more and finally, water, we are supposed to have the most. On the background, we need to do sport activity like walking, training, running... hmmmm...Now I see we also need to eat a lot of full grain and cereals. I recommend everyone to take a look at the food pyramid at wikipedia.org. There are some doubts about that pyramid, but, you get a lot of useful information about how we better eat.

Hi, stringer: I'm with you, we need to change our habits, and to be full knowledge of the contents of what we ate, from the calories that benefit our bodies, and do not cause an increase to our bodies. And after all that, we must have full determination to continue to eat what benefits our body and makes us in good health.
