Why does a 5 year old need a bikini

bikinis are worn by most girls nowadays. this is considered fashionable. i agree that they do not need to wear the top but this has always been sold in pairs. little girls have a tendency to copy their moms. you can see them using their moms' heels, gowns, dresses, and make up when they play. this must be the reason why the bikini for girls are on the market, to satisfy the little girl's dream to be like her mom.

In my opinion a bikini for a little girl is not a proper thing to choose. I would prefer a bathing suit for various reasons. It is better fitting and it is also more decent. Besides, the child is bound to feel too exposed in a bikini when getting in the water it is too cold for her bare tummy :)

It looks cute on them, don't you think? I mean there are styles that looks cute on kids. I just don't want certain styles that may look them like you know what.

I completely agree with you. That is ridiculous. Adults don't need bikini's let alone children. Things like that are crazy.

Hi! I think you should ask the little girl if she likes to wear a bikini at the beach or if she feels comfortable without one. I suppose that your niece is already going to school right? So she should have an opinion on what she feels comfortable with. I believe that the bottom part is definitely necessary even for little children to protect them from the infections and the sand. The top part is not necessary but I remember that when I started to have my own perception (I was around the age of your little niece), I was feeling more comfortable with the bikini top.

Well for me if I have a baby girl I will let her wear a bikini when she will swim. Why? It is cute to see my baby wearing a bikini or swimsuit, and in fact she is just a little kid with no hesitation what ever she wears. It is just a fashion.
