I had a strange dream.

I had the weirdest dream about my grandfather.I don't really remember him, he was in a car accident and died when i was 3.My mother doesn't really mention him other than he was drunk a lot and i don't want to make her sad so i never asked much about him.I have seen pictures of him and my grandparent's used to live in my parent's house then when they died they left it to my mom.When i was babysitting my niece she fell asleep in my parent's bed and i ended up falling asleep shortly after.I dreamed i woke up and went into the family room but looked at my feet because the carpet felt different.I saw it was the carpet my family used to have when i was younger that was brown and felt dirty.Then i found my grandfather sitting in the rocking chair.he pointed at the couch and shouted "don't throw out the couch that is a good couch" and i stood still wondering what was going on, i couldn't talk or move then he stood up, grabbed me than started shaking me shouting "i said don't get rid of that couch it is a good couch" He put his hand's around my neck and started choking me screaming "don't let them throw the couch away" I couldn't breathe and i was trying to scream but couldn't then i remember thinking i need to wake up, i felt like i knew i was sleeping but coudln't wake myself up and suddenly i could see the wall above me but couldn't move or look in another direction.It's hard to explain.Eventually i woke up and my dog was near me staring so i was wondering if i really was screaming in my sleep.Did you ever have a similar dream experience?
