circumcised or not circumcised?

i know this topic is kind of sensitive so i want to apologize to those who would be offended of what i have to share here. i live in a country who's dominating religion is catholic. it has been a part of our culture to have boys circumcised before adolescence. it is actually more of a necessity since if you're uncut, people will ridicule you like hell. i am aware that some cultures don't really consider circumcision a necessity. i respect and understand that.

I think religion dictates us to be circumcised. Because in other countries, it is not a common practice and I think there are no health hazards on it.

i also don't see any health hazards if you remain uncircumcised. it's just that the society if cruel to those who won't comply with its norms.

I think it is not compulsory for those who are not comply with it. They cant forcibly stop you and you are not allowed to impose this on them.

well it' true there;s no law that forces you to be circumcised but you will have to suffer from the insults of the people.

Beside Catholic, I understand the Islam also state that the boys will have to circumcised. Religion aside, circumcise is also more hygenic.

Anymore, I think it is more for health reasons. The practice I don't agree with is in Africa where they do this to little girls.

I agree that it is more of a religious basis that men in our country are circumcised. I believe that it is a good practice and there is actually nothing you can lose if you're circumcised.

you're correct that it doesn't really change anything from you so i guess there;s really nothing wrong about it.
