my pending friend requests

I am guilty of keeping friend requests pending! I admit it. Being a mylot member for 6 years now I try to make sure the person is active here before adding them as a friend. As if they are not, what is the point really? Just my own opinion. I do check on them periodically and if I see a persons number of posts jumped in the fews days it took me to check it again- I usually add them then because I know they aren't a "one hit wonder" so to speak. Hell I have referrals who ended up being one hit wonders here..SMH.

Well, I know there are many here I think who never check their pending friend requests or never accept anyone newer. I have many people requesting friends all the time here, and most of the time will accept them if there are discussions I can relate with that they have started.

i sometimes leave mine for a while if they are new people just to see what they are interested in and if they participate well. if i see one that has done like several discussions but only answered 2 or 3, i figure they are going to be that way with our friendship and run me over with slews of off the wall discussions so i deny. i left yours a couple of days then decided you are a good friend

I don`t accept any friends request from people who have been a short time here. What I mean is, I check the number on the side and will not accept anyone with two digits. Still I do not delete them unless they don`t continue posting later on.

I do have to say that the majority of the friend requests that I get on here I don't choose to add or deny right away because I want to make sure that the people that are requesting friendship on the site are actually going to be people that are active on the site and people that tend to talk about things that are interesting to me. Once I've seen that a person is active on the site, that is when I will decide to add them as a friend of mine on the site.

I actually don't have any pending requests... I, myself don't accept others request and keep it on pending... lolz... I don't want to accept the strangers requests, but also don't want to delete their request... And then , on some day, when there are a lot of requests, and if I am in a good mood, then I accept their requests...

I look at this a bit differently. I have only asked about four people to be my friends and this was AFTER I has responded to many of their discusions. I actually get annoyed when memebers request to be my friend and they haven't bothered to answer at least one of my discussions or tried to get to know me. When I have accepted a few of these persons as friends then I am flooded with so many of their posts and they never show the courtesy of answering even one of mine. So after a while I delete them as this is rudeness in any language. I may keep them in my pending for a few weeks and if they do not have the good manners to answer even one post then I do not accept them as a friend as they are not friends - they are users

Until and unless the person who sent request does not seems like a spammer , i cant find any other reason for not approving the request.Mylot is not like Facebook where there is lot of private stuff.Anyways its a free world , everyone has their own reasons for accepting or rejecting something or keeping it pending like you mentioned.Best wishes.

I have a bunch that has never accepted also. I finally started deleting them out as it doesn't look like they are going to accept. Some was from three years ago.

When I was starting mylot, I also add friends in random but now I just wait for other mylotters to add me. In that way, I know that they really wanted to have me as friend here. Anyway, I already have friends here though some of them became inactive already but still they are my friends here.

well i have many that i have sent since the first time I started they are still pending ohh well I will not worry about it that much

I haven't sent anyone friend requests but i would add anyone who requested to be my friend.

Some people might only add people they know in real life, others may not be active members. Others well maybe they don't notice the number next to the friend tab. I'll add you! The more friends the merrier!

yeah actually it feels bad to see that your requests are not being approved. but i normally send requests only to those people whom i feel will accept my requests. and so far all my requests have been accepted.but i should tell you one thing dont ever get upset of not having your requests being accepted. think that they are not lucky enough to accept a friend like you

Whenever I make a new request for friendship I make a checking of all pending cases. Normally I don't allow to 3rd one in 2nd row. So delete needed older case. I am NOT giving more botheration about this matter.

I too had a similar story.Some adds and many of them doesn't. Maybe they are not much active in mylot. That's why they don't have time.

yeah,actually i have a similar discussion like,if pendins friend rewquests still pending.so i can understand you,it s little bit annoying because being friends is the most beautiful thing in the world,so if people dont accept you for a long time it hurts. but after i got many responses from old users,i understood why. amny people come here for promoting their internet sites,and some of them comes here for only money,so some people just wait a week then accept the friend request. for me i never denied anybody. and i was same about deleting long period friend requests too,if they dont want me,i dont want them too ;) happy mylotting

I have always approved any friends request even if the user has only (1)rating. As I come here to make friends . Furthermore, I was initially having "zero" friend but now I am glad that I have many friends here. I have just checked my pending friend requests, I do find that there are a lot still pending. Well, I believe they are busy with mylotting and may have overlooked them. So, I have no hard feelings. I just leave it there, as there is no harm to leave it there
