If You Were A Cat....

I was just looking at my cat and wondering what she would be like if she was a human. Personality wise. I think she would be a stubborn brat haha. She comes in, eats, sleeps then leaves and when we put our hand down to pat her, she will most likely walk by and ignore us. It is very rare she will come up to us for a pat and it is extremely rare she purrs.
But now I'm going to ask you MyLotters what you think you what be like as a cat. For example, if I was a cat, I would be a bit cautious when meeting new people because I'm shy so I wouldn't walk up to them straight away. But when I get used to a human, I will be wanting pats all the time since I love massages or my hair brushed. I think I would also be a quiet cat.
What about you? Odd question I know but I am curious.
Happy MyLotting.

lol I have actually thought about this question before because I have a cat as well. She can be really sweet and comes up to me for a pat but she can frustrate me when she meows and doesn't shut up. :P
If I were a cat I'd probably be like you and also be like a watch cat for the family that owned me. Like if I heard any strange noises I'd go to check out what it was.
Very interesting question! :)

Hello AidanKay!
Well I am glad someone else has thought about it and I am not the only one! haha yeah my cat can be sweet and has a cute little look she can give us but most of the time she has this look as if to say "do what I say, and no one gets hurt." :P
I understand the meowing thing too! My cat walks towards the kitchen to get some food but she will sit there meowing until someone comes to walk in with her lol I don't know why she needs someone to walk in all the way with her, she knows where her bowl is!! She will also meow at the front door or climb on the windows meow to let her in. Can be really annoying if you are sleeping because she won't shut up.
I didn't think of that actually. I would like to say I'd be like that too. I can be such a wuss sometimes but if anyone hurts someone I love them they better watch out!
Thank you so very much for answering. :)

lol animals and humans are connected on an interesting level. i truly feel like the souls are similar in many ways.
they do have personalities and cats have particularly strong ones. lots of attitude come from these furry buggers.
ive always kind of wondered how their mind works. apparently its not english they can understand but our tones of voice which i found interesting.
so do they wonder what its like to be human? do they think they are human already??? my mom swears that her cat thinks she is one of the famil and she is as human as me and my sister. sometimes i think shes right and thatbthe cat really feels that way.
ive also seen some cats act like dogs when thats what they ahng out with. i think they have an identity crisis xp
lol my sister used to always pretend to be a cat and has even tried cat food. so she has thought to try and be a kitty cat. but i havent really considered it. ive considered a fish or a bird but maybe this is soemthing to meditate on later tonight about what its like in the life of a cat.
they are pampered but the street cats are also in trouble lots.
odd but very fun question. keep them coming ! :) happy mylotting.

Hello artsy!
I too believe that cats have personalities. That is very interesting that they can understand the tone of our voices. Every time I let my cat out of the house I say "Bye Leilah" and I swear, 9 times out of 10, she will give this little meow as if she is saying goodbye. It's just so cute how she does that.
I think most cats think they own the place they live in haha. They can be so stuck up. :P I've never seen a cat act like a dog but our dog often acts like a cat because he watches her and has learned from her since he was a younger puppy.
HAHA awww I can't believe your sister tried cat food! I remember years ago I saw this video on YouTube of a woman eating heaps of cat food. I have no idea if it was really cat food but even the thought of it made me sick. How did your sister feel after she tried it? Was she sick or anything?
I have wondered what animal I would like to be. Maybe a horse? I don't know. But I guess a bird would be nice to fly around and see what it's like from up above.
It is an odd question haha but I just had to ask!
Thank you so very much for answering. :)

Hello eagletrek2!
haha what a funny cat. I would feel a bit awkward if a cat or any animal was looking at me while doing that haha.
Thank you very much for answering. :)

I've got 3 cats - littermates. They're all spoiled rotten, however they've each got a personality. They're not knee cats, but have particular friends among my husband's students. They know when a friend is due and wait by the door for them to arrive. The boy - bruiser and one female - floozie (the flirt) are great friends, if you see one, the other's not far away. Suffice to say, as far as my cats are concerned, the world was made for them and they're in charge.

Hello honor00!
haha they sound cute. How sweet of them to wait by the door when a friend is coming over.
