Summer fun? Really? There is truly so much fun in summertime especially for those vacationing from school and those families that choose to hold reunions in summer at the beaches and anywhere else where swimming in the water is possible.
But still to the many out there, the intense heat of the sun triggers a lot of summer illnesses including the most common and yet, dreadful and paralyzing slight which could become moderate to severe headache.
How many of you, mylotters, can relate to this? Do you suffer from headache a lot whenever the heat is intense during summer? What do you usually do, or what are the remedies you make, either natural, herbal or medicinal just to make sure headache doesn't stop you from doing what you need to do in a day? What do you do to avoid headache when you think you might have it due to exposure to direct sunlight?

Well, a lot of times, it could be the heat or the sun causing the headaches. I know the glaring sun and having to squint all the time, does make it hard to see and causes issues. Could be a sense of a different type of stress caused from this as well.

i'm really good at staying hydrated as well as using sunglasses. i need to make sure i use sunscreen better. i would just like to walk in the park at the end of the day during the summer. i also really want to have enough to go on vacation but don't know if i'll have enough money.

I suffer too much from the heat. I drink a lot of water so that i will not be dehydrated. Sometimes my nose bleeds a lot when it's too hot, My doctor told me that i should have a bag of ice and put it in the back of my neck, then in my face to cool it off. Headaches really pissed me off. Once a headache occurs to me, i will eat and drink my medicine immediately. Sometimes i find a place which is not too hot in our house to hangout or do my stuff. ^^

I seldom have a headache, if it's for days and will be over by itself. If it also has nothing to do with summer-heath. I wonder if this is the case with most people or if the stress of vacation, reunions, etc is the real reason. Also there are plenty of people who get headaches as soon as they are not very busy.
If it's just from the heat dehydration may be the reason.

Yes, I can definitely relate to this matter. Just yesterday, I had a headache because of the heat. I don't take in anything, I just drink lots of cold water and stay in a cool place after being outside. It may help maybe to use an umbrella perhaps. I didn't umbrella so far, so maybe it may help.

i oftentimes suffer from headaches during summer. however that this is due to the intense sunlight. i have a problems with my vision and too much sun irritates my eyes. i countered this by wearing sunglasses especially when i'm driving. this has helped me a lot.

When summer time comes, obviously it hot. But then to avoid headache, don't stay too much under the heat of the sun. I rather stay in an air conditioned room, so that I cannot feel headache.
