I went to an Ice cream shop yesterday and the shop owner insisted on me buying their specialty for the day,Ice Cream sandwich,I was curious of what it was and it was pretty cheap as well and i decided to try it and when my order came I saw that it was just a slab of Ice cream between 2 slices of bread,i was like "what is this" but since I had ordered it i had a bit of it and it was very nice, the taste had changed considerably even though the bread slice and the ice cream was ordinary,i really liked it and i recommend it to you guys, try it and tell me your experience

Since I was a kid, I used to eat ice cream sandwiches. They would often sell packs of 6-12 in the grocery store, so if you liked them, go buy more. It's good when the ice cream is not too frozen (like a block...especially if you have sensitive teeth) but not too soft (or it'll splatter everywhere, and it'll be hard to eat it...you may only get the bread because the ice cream moves away from where you are biting :|)

You just try it recently? Eating ice cream between slice of breads is like a childhood memory for most adult in my place. We do have common ice cream cones, but ice cream sandwich's price is twice the normal cones, so eating it feels like a luxury. Even if it isn't. I eat it when I'm hungry, and i prefer normal cones when i just feel like eating something sweet and cold. I'm quite stingy, even to myself, you see.

Ahaha, you make me sound so old. Argh, you make me feel like going to the shop and buy a box of ice cream and sandwich bread. Nowadays i prefer making my own food rather than buying it.

Not yet. Actually this is my first time to hear such a weird sandwich. I am not interested in it. As once I think about the ice cream will be melting in the sandwich, I will feel terrible. And it will not be tasty.

I think the ice cream sandwich will be finished b4 the ice cream starts melting so i did not have to eat it melted, but then again people's opinion do vary but i recommend you try it once

When I was still a kid, we always wait for the ice cream man for some "dirty ice cream". He have with him some ice cream cones and burger buns. For an extra couple of pesos, we can have our ice cream on the buns instead of the cones. It tastes good, but it is a bit uncomfortable for those who have sensitive teeth as you have to bite on it. Then I get to have those ice ream bars that comes with biscuits. I like it much better.

It is not uncommon when I was younger, in fact it was more common than ice cream cones due to the ease of preparation. The ice cream vendors had ice cream that came in hard blocks instead of soft ice-cream, hence when you ordered one they would cut out a block of ice-cream and serve it between 2 slices of bread or biscuits. This is now uncommon with the high-grade ice-cream available everywhere these days.

I have not tried icecream sandwich, but would love to know the taste. I will certainly try to put ice cream between two breads and then love to taste it.

We've had ice cream sandwiches for years, but they are generally ice cream between two thin chocolate "cookies" I've also seen them home made with chocolate chip cookies and stuff. Never with ordinary bread.

Those are very common in the states. You can find them at the grocery store. They normally come in between two thin soft chocolate pieces instead of bread or sometimes chocolate chip cookies. They're usually made with vanilla ice cream but they come in all different flavors. I'm glad you enjoyed your ice cream sandwich. They're pretty good but I personally would rather eat ice cream on a cone.
