Do you have this problem? That you are at home in the evening and you just have to eat something even you are not hungry? I don´t know how to stop it. I just sit behind the computer and then I think "I woul like to have something tasty". So I am going to kitchen and I am checking fridge and I look for something good to eat. Or even worse I grab some chocolate. Even now I have bowl of popcorn beside me. That´s why I started to write this. And my boyfriend support me in my "evening eating". When I am at his house, he always take out some chips, popcorn, cake, fries or other unhealthy stuff. I realize that it´s unhealthy, but I just can´t help myself. What would you do? :)

I do have this problem, although I am working on it.
I tell myself that if I am going to eat something then I must do a work out for at least 30 minutes after eating said food. The only time that I do not do this is if I am eating fruits or raw vegetables, because they do not contain a lot of calories. Of course, as has been said, it is not good to eat after 8pm because you're not burning off the calories and therefore any sugar or fat that was in the food is automatically stored and used in creating more fat cells... it really isn't a good thing to do.
I don't buy chips, or cookies, or chocolate or anything of that sort... so I basically know that if I am going to eat at least it will be relatively healthy. Like right now I have a small portion of diced peaches beside me, which is a lot better than a bowl of chips. I also know that if you make your fridge a safer place, like putting away the bad food where it is harder to get at, you'll be less likely to go through all the work to get it. You should really work on making your spaces a lot healthier and then that will also help with combating these evening munchies.
Now don't get me wrong, I love pop corn and chips and cookies... but really I only let myself have a small treat maybe once a week... because I know that those calories going in are going to be tremendously hard to get off since I am not a huge exerciser.
Make sure you watch your sugar intake. And I mean WATCH it closely. If you over due your sugar in take every day this can lead to obesity, heart problems, diseases such as diabetes, etc. Sugar intake is another major issue when it comes to consuming foods.
You really got to stay away from processed foods, excess sugar in take, and watch those calories going in.
But any ways, this isn't really about any of that, so I would say for me I just make sure that my spaces are healthy and it makes munching at least better for me... :).
Try to eat before 8pm and then go to bed before 11pm... that works too, because your body needs food approximately every 3 hours.

And I forgot to add... drink hot green tea! Don't drink the stuff like Arizona where it has a lot of sugar added... rather drink pure green tea. It has been proven to boost metabolism and help fight the process that your body uses in making unneeded fat cells.
I drink 4-8 cups a day, and it has definitely helped me to feel a lot better physically.

I know, it is a struggle to eat healthy especially when we have our habits. What I would suggest doing is starting in small steps, so if you have to absolutely have that chip bowl or pop corn when watching a film, don't go for the coke or Pepsi because that adds a huge waist line to yourself if you drink a lot of these. Instead try getting a drink that has less sugar... go to Sprite or Ginger ale.
These drinks aren't way better for you, but like I said... small steps :).
I only drink energy drinks if I absolutely need too, or if I know I haven't had much sugar that day (because they are usually insanely high in sugar)...
Keep in mind that it is easier to break bad habits then it is to reverse obesity... motivate yourself... that's what I am trying to work towards.
I make sure I do at least 1,000 jumping jacks a day... that at least helps.

I would like to eat healthy, but I just can force myself to it. Every week I think that I am going to start eating fruit and vegetables, but after 2 days it´s over. And I am back to my eating habits. Or I just can´t watch movie without eating chips or popocorn. And I like Coke or Pepsi or drinks like that. Luckily I stopped drink energy drinks, to which I was addicted couple years ago. I have to do something with myself, because I can have seroius health problem when I will be older.

Yeah I also love to munch some snacks in the evening while sitting in front of my computer.. It makes me feel sleepy after eating a lot amount of snacks and it is annoying since I still have some homework to do..
Some tips if you want to prevent eating unhealthy food, try to drink a lot of water, it works for me, after drinking much, I don't feel hungry anymore.. Also if you want, try to change your snacks to fruits like grapes maybe..
My mother told me not to eat heavy food, means food with high calories and can make you full, after 7 pm. She said it can make you chubby, but in fact our digestion system works optimally around 6 to 7 pm...

I try every week to start eating fruit or something healthy, but it lasts like 2 days for me. I just don´t like it. And even when I am watching movies I have to eat something like chips or popcorn with it. But usually I try not to eat late in the evening, because then I am feeling full.

Honestly I used to be the same way. Now I have a routine with it, if I am hungry at night I go to bed. I tell myself oh well you can eat in the morning. It is so bad because we are not working it off if we eat before bed... So, if I am craving something to eat, I choose the bed instead! Lol. It has helped me not to eat in the late evenings now. :)
