My daughter has this hamster as a pet. Her name is Sammy. She's cute , despite she always making noise running on her hamster wheel every night. The trouble is she always try to escape from her hamster house. Another thing we have 2 cats in the house. Tonight is the third time Sammy managed to escaped. Usually we follow the cats, to locate her. Will be a busy night tonight

Oh no! hope the cats don't attack the little thing! I can relate to being up because of the wheel, my sister has a hamster and she has the cage against the wall in her room that is between hers and mine. And it squeaks so much! she tried putting butter on it to stop it and the silly thing licked it off. We have dogs here, but i'm sure if one of them had the chance, they'd nip at the hamster if it got out.

The hamster still can't be found. We'll have to search again later and hope the cats will be nice not to eat her.

how long has your daughter had this hamster? if its been only a short time and its running away you can probably fix this problem. otherwise maybe you should think that you dont treat it right and it doesnt like the home lol. hard but maybe true. i am praying your hamster didnt get snacked on my your kitty cats. that would be very unfortunate for your kids to find that. hahaha thats a good idea though to follow the cats to find the hamster. perhaps you should consider a different way of housing the hamster so she doesnt run away or fixing the hamster wheel so it doesnt squeak. the little things count you know. be sure to let me know if you find the hamster and i wish you the best of luck! :)

With the fact that we have three dogs and currently seven cats in our house (our three cats and the two week old kittens), it definitely wouldn't pay for us to have a hamster in our home that would be able to live in our house as well. I can only begin to imagine the kind of hectic night that your family had when the hamster was out on the loose and I really hope that you were able to get Sammy safely back into her hamster house.
