You seem to be doing alright so far. MyLot is a discussion site, so you simply participate in discussions (as you have been doing) with descriptive, relevant responses and comments which add something to the discussion. Earnings are calculated based on the quality of your participation over 24 hours, which is why they don't update instantly. Your earnings for one day are usually updated sometime in the morning of the following day according to MyLot time shown at the bottom of the page.
