all countries have rules and regulations regarding private hospitals. usually it is the health department that is in charge of implementing these rules.
doctors should administer the same care and service to their patients irrespective of whether they work in a private or government hospital. however, due to lack of funds, some government hospitals are ill equipped and they find this a deterrent in the performance of their duties. these hospitals are always full so the waiting period before a patient gets attended to is longer.
most private hospitals are owned by doctors. they have the equipment and the supplies ready. the doctor - patient ratio is lower since there are lesser patients. due to these reasons, most privately owned clinics and hospitals are able to administer better care and service to their patients.
