hi. i was astonished when i read your post so i ran a search about it. it seems that this is NOT TRUE. www.ohmyfacts.blogspot.com says there were indeed eleven babies but they had DIFFERENT MOTHERS and they were born on 11-11-11.
according to wikipedia, the highest number of multiple births is 9.

The person who sent me this piece of news may not have checked for the facts. However, now that I have posted this topic let's go from there. What if you had to tackle such a situation. How would you handle it.

Thanks for the fact-checking. But I think the poster is asking a for-instance scenario.

i wouldn't know how to handle eleven babies either. i have only one child, he is 22 yrs old now. when he was baby, he suffered from asthma. if not for my mother, i would have had a hard time. how much more if i had 11 babies? i wouldn't have time even to go to the bathroom. LOL

I don't believe she could have carried 11 babies. More that 5 or 6, there's a huge risk of losing them.

Well for one thing I would write to the Pope in Rome to have it officially designated a miracle, since I am not able to have 1 at this point, much less 11.

I have heard of late pregnancies. My eldest sister was nearly fifty when she conceived. Her son is three months younger to her grandson!
Writing to the Pope? That reminds me. I may as well write to the Pope. My mango tree that remained dormant for twenty odd years has now flowered!

Your belief is right. Apparently the public was taken for a ride by this news which was later proved to be a cooked up story as is reported by a few users here.
But I wonder how you would handle it if it happened to you!

I'd probably ask my mom to take one child and adopt the baby. I am sure that it would be such a great favor we would be doing. And we will make sure that both mother and child will still have the connection.

A couple of users here say that it was a cooked up story. Nevertheless I see that should you encounter such a situation I am glad that you would ask your mother to adopt one of the babies. But you would not. Right?

With my present financial status, it is hard to have another child in the house. But I would not hesitate really if I had the resources to give that child a better future.

I believe the mother has point blank refused to give away her babies as reports have it that this episode never every happened
So jenny relax. You will not be put in a quandary.

It's unbelievable. Twins is just enough. Though it sounds fun hope all the babies are healthy.

You are right. It is unbelievable as that never happened which I came to know from some users here. That was a story concocted on 11.11.11. The nurses kept 11 test tube babies in a row belonging to different mothers and made up this story.
Any way would you have ideas if it ever happened how you would cope with the situation?

I can't imagine myself if ever I have eleven babies born all at the same time. I only have two children and I'm getting problematic already, he he. Well, if I am rich, I will hire eleven nannies. Not a problem if you have enough fund to do things.
Have a wonderful day!

Don't worry. This situation never existed I am told, thankfully. Not that it is impossible. With fertility treatment there have been cases of multiple deliveries.
You will be well taken care of, as such cases always come to the notice of NGOs and many will pitch in too.
What names would you choose for your babies ARIES?

I would probably call friends, relatives, family members to help out. It's too much for a couple to handle.

You can pass one on to me. I would love to adopt one of your babies when that happens. And incidentally as is reported by some users here it happens to be a false alarm. May be you could be the one!

As you will have seen reading through other responses that this was a concocted story but was splashed all over the Net. It did make interesting reading though.
I was imagining you with those 11 babies on your bed at a loss not knowing what to do. Don't worry there will be enough to lend you a helping hand specially with situations as rare as this.

How is this happened? Does she gave birth 11 babies at a time? Meaning in one birth time of eleven babies? If thay so.. I feel that both mother and kids need special and extra care for their good health. That was amazing!

Relax. I am just told that this was a cooked up story and like others I too believed it. It was all over the internet and a friend posted that to me.
If that were true,I am sure the government would step forward and lend a helping hand.

That's unbelievable! Where is the mother now? How as she able to carry these 11 babies in her tummy? She needs the support of government and people around her. It would be big, big work for her to care and feed for 11 babies. In the first place if she is going to br*astfeed these babies, she only has two br*asts and I am sure she wouldn't have enough milk to feed them all. Oh my, what a mess.

Your imagination is perfect as the story itself was someone's imagination splashed on the Net. Many of us believed it to be true. Anyway you have nothing to worry as from what you have responded you sure would know how to handle the situation if it every happened to you or anyone that you know!

Might be a good time to bring up family planning and asking some people if they are willing to adopt the children. course, the mother has to be notified and she and her husband had to agree.

I saw your comment in one of the boxes above. You are right. Although I was in the dark about this being a hoax, this topic would make interesting reading if we assumed such a situation and how it would be tackled as anything is possible. There have been cases of multiple deliveries in the world.
Normally government agencies come forward and ease the situation for the couple. Also there would be many who would be willing to adopt provided as you say, the parents are willing to part with their babies.

Considering on her intention it is not that bad to create a good soccer team....I guess after 24 years from now on India will qualify for their debut at world cup......true nationalist.

Thankfully it was not the case I am told. It was just someone's imagination. I wonder how you would handle the situation if it had happened to anyone those around you?

I am glad I gave you an 'amazing' moment as I am told this was a cooked up story - not really cooked up but 11 test tube babies were delivered in a hospital in Surat as these women who were expecting their test tube babies had opted for the date 11.11.2011 as being a good date for their babies to be born.
So you say, the more the merrier. Then I will not leave you. Tell me how you would go about leading your life. I am sure you must have already thought of some nice names too!

Hi friend, I cannot believe it. Really, it is an amazing thing in the world. If we live near with the family, I want to adopt one of them. I think it is hard to raise them. But, how the condition the mother, now? Is she okay. I really concerned with their mother.

Difficult to believe and thankfully I am told it is not true. However, I like your thought that if it were true then you would want to adopt one of the babies. I am sure there will be many more like you to help out the mother. But will the mother part with her children? Would you part with them if you had them?

Wow! Incredible! I wish both mother and children are healthy and will be healthy... However... I think from now on, it will be hard for the family to take care of so many children.
If it were me [although I'm still a teenager] I think I would quit my job so I could take care very well of the kids. Also I would try to find a way to make some money from home in the time when kids play or sleep. Also I would talk with my parents to help me and I would discuss with my husband ,too, to search for a better job or to be carefull at his job to not loose it :).

Reading through responses you must have got to know that this was more a story than a fact. But it was on the Net and people people to believed it. Anyway assuming there was such a situation I like your modus operandi in handling the situation
