…even the dog feels it.

In my country, it’s the full blast of summer. Due to the weather conditions, I decided to trim my dog as much as possible to at least lessen the his body heat. But I think my dog needs more than cutting his excess hair.
I was working in the chicken when the dog followed me (naturally).I was going back to the fridge and I noticed it was open – which is definitely a no-no and I will definitely be scolded for it. I was trying to close the door when I heard a gentle yelp from the inside and when I peeked, I saw my dog lying closely as he can into the vegetable bin. It seems that my dog learned a few tricks of his own and decide to take advantage of the fridge’s cool air. Good thing I haven’t closed the door tight or else, everyone will be looking for him (except in the fridge) and we might hear barking form somewhere we cannot place.

Make sure he has lots of cool water there. Dogs like people can run don form the heat. Stay cool!!!

I think we have a lot of water containers in the freezer just in case. Not just for the dog but for the people as well.

It sounds like your home country is very hot at the moment and is in the full swing of summer. Your dog is trying to take advantage of the cold air in your fridge. It would be so awful to hear barking and not be able to find your dog.
It is a cool and windy spring time in my home country. My two poodles are non moulting. Their fur just keeps growing and needs to be trimmed. My dog Secret is mostly white which is fine. My other dog Magic is black and feels hotter being that color. I keep their fur very short when we have a hot summer time.

Yes. it's the peak of the summer in my place. and as much as I understand the dog's, opening the fridge down isn't an option.
Rewarding your dogs, i am glad he's not pure black.

Poor doggie... He needs some cold air too.
Try to give it some cold[but not too cold] water sometimes and put it's bed in a cold place/corner or try to splash him with cold water sometimes [if you live at house, not at a apartment].
hope this will help... I have a dog at my grandma's house too...and I know how it suffers in the summer and those advices I apply to it.

I usually give him cold water and he has a his individual cool gel if he's resting or sleeping. But I guess he prefers the fridge's dog but ti won't be practical.
