satisfied newlyweds more likely to gain weight

generally it observed that young newlyweds who are satisfied with their marriage gain in the early years after they exchange vows, putting them at increased risk for health problems related to being overweight. there is a saying that 'marriage is associated with weight gain and that divorce is associated the weight loss'. do you have such experience please share..

I think this is some what true. It happened to me. When I got married 6 months ago, things were alright. We are not rich but if we both work hard, we can have a good life. However, my husband lost his job and everything went down hill. I work like mad everyday supporting both of us, I lost weight while he gains weight staying home and have everything taken care of. I don't know if I can go on like this.
