Sorry to hear that! At least she's at the hospital where there are competent caretakers and I'm sure they will do all they can to care for her injury. I also just said a prayer for her. Let's pray and hope for the best!

Your right you never know with a head injury. I hope she's going to be ok. She's probably young and will heal fast. My prayers are with her.

I'm so sorry to hear that your daughter-in-law has been involved in an accident and I will keep her in my thoughts that she really is going to be okay as your son has said. It always makes me just a little bit sick to my stomach to hear that someone has been involved in an accident that resulted in some kind of a head injury because we never truly know the clear extent of these accidents until the victim has recovered to the fullest point that they will be able to recover.

I'm sorry to hear this. I have a sister who is seriously into horses too. And my girlfriend as well. I'm certain however your daughter-in-law is in good hands and will recover soon. Horses are serious business, at times accidents happen. I just hope everything will be okay.

that is critical and terrible. i can relate much because few months ago last year, my boyfriend was hospitalized because he met an accident as he fetched me along the way from school. i was so totally nervous during that time. his mother called me and told me a thing but not all the details too, because someone informed her of what had happened. i thought i will loose him during that time. i am was so glad as i walked into the hospital, he managed to call me and give me some relieving news. but still, in my utmost prayer and hope, that he may fully well and nothing serious injuries that make him invalid or paralyze. i hope your daughter in law will be alright. just pray for nothing is impossible with God :)

hi velvet my evening for having my posts just fly off copy I am so sorry to hear your daughter in law fractured her skull from a fall from a horse.,so I will add my prayers for her safe recovery and her safe way back to good health,I do realize that a skull fracture is a serious thing so I hope other mylotters will join me in praying for her swift recovery too.

Such a horrible accident. Prayers for the entire family. I see from another post that she seems to be alright. I am glad to know that the doctors are taking extra precautions with her though.

You're right, anything can happen with just a head injury. You can make some tests just to make sure that there's no damage at all. Just keep on praying and I'm sure she will be ok.
