Life is a Long and Winding Road

It was a long and exciting trip we just had yesterday going to the fishpond and away from the usual noise from the city. While travelling, I took photos of as much nature I could get including the long and winding road we were travelling on. With such long trips, there will always be moments of silence (especially when you feel full already just eating the snacks you brought), and that was when I have thought of life and compared it to the long and winding road.
Would you agree with me that life is like that? That however short one person might have lived on earth, he would have thought so just the same..that life is a long road with many turns?
Are you just determined right now that come what may, you will enjoy life?

Yes. Very good analogy. One thing about the road we follow is that we cannot get off of it until the end. In a way, that's comforting because we can settle down and not fight whatever may come, but know that the road will continue on, over the hills and twists and potholes and downed trees.

I am glad that you had a long and exciting road trip. It was lovely you had time to take some photos. Life is just like a trip on a long winding road. Sometimes there is choice which way to go to. I have been having a great time clutter clearing my lounge. Then I lost my Sky Box's Remote. It has been complicated to manually select the Sky channel. It is meant to be spring in my home country and the weather is so very cold. It is like a journey by road at high altitude.

Yes, my friend. One of the best things about travelling, especially on the road, and you're not driving, is when you are able to take pictures. I really enjoy even the simplest things like the road we are travelling on and likened the road to human life. I really enjoy travelling especially when I travel with family...it's simply the best and finest things in life.

Yes, I am determined to enjoy life, and to learn lots. I think it is good to reflect upon life.. its winding road(s) and what is life.. what, or is there purpose.. What can I learn about life by observing the natural world, and using reasoning and logic to answer the questions about life I have.

I think most people consider life to be a long winding road. Life has so many ups and downs and twists and turns, but not everyone is going to enjoy it. It's easy to let things get you down. Not everyone is going to stay positive. I believe that we should all do our best to enjoy our life, and just take the bad moments as a learning experience, and get past them so we can continue to enjoy life. Life is what we make of it. When bad things happen we are in control of how we handle it. We can either let it bring us down, or build us up. My point is that while yes life is full of twists and turns, and most of us are aware of this, that it's up to us on how we handle any situation that comes our way, and we alone will decide if we are going to allow ourselves to enjoy life.

Good point, sissy. You have a healthy disposition. Happiness is a choice and it's up to us to make an intelligent choice, no matter how many twists and turns the road to life makes us face each day.

Our journey with life has lots of ups and downs. And we may experience to be moving on a straight path sometimes, but other times, when we make a wrong decision, we tend to go to a different direction. But with patience and strong faith, we can always get back on the right track.

I strongly agree with you. We need to be patient when we need to face and make decisions. I even agree with you more when you mentioned that strong faith can always help. Good insight, jenny. Thanks a lot.

You are right, life is like a long road with lot of twist and turns. Some of them are good and some of then are worst. Whatever it is, we must face it with our confidence and get success in all the challenges of our life.

I spotted one good word you just mentioned - confidence, which most people do not have when they come face to face with life's challenges or what we're now talking as the twists and turns in our life. We should not fear, but instead face each challenge confidently.
