Hi everyone. It's the summer time here where I live and I tend to get drier hair during this season because the sun's rays may hit my hair directly if I don't use an umbrella. Also, the heat in the air just dries up my skin and hair so bad. It's a good thing that I have a good hair care routine. It might help you guys too so I'm just sharing it.
Before I hit the shower (which I do not 2x a day), I apply 2 pumps of sunflower oil on the ends of my hair where it is the dryest. I pin it up and let it sit for as long as possible. If I need to hit the shower right away, I wash my body and do my hair last.
I shampoo only the roots of my hair because that's where the dirt accumulates and use what's remaining on my hands to lightly touch the ends. Then I rinse it off properly with my head upside down so all the shampoo will be rinsed off the roots well. I condition only the ends of my hair, about 2/3s of the hair. I let it sit for as long as possible and rinse well.
I only towel and air dry my hair. I don't use a blow dryer. I squeeze off excess water gently and lightly pat the towel to absorb the water. Scrunching with a towel will damage the hair. I use a wide tooth comb when my hair is wet. I apply a light hair serum only when I need to go out since it will keep my hair from frizzing.
Hope you guys try this routine out. I think you can sub sunflower oil with olive oil or virgin coco oil.

Thanks for the info. I apply extra virgin olive oil every other day to make my hair healthy and stronger. I also used gelatin once a week to achieve fuller and thick hair. I can say that my hair is more manageable than before :)
