What Is the New Age We Are Entering Now that (Seer says) the Church Age Is Dead?

The Seer http://www.the-seer.com/church_age_is_dead.html reports that church-attendance is falling etc.---that--though we SAY that the church is 'the people who believe'--we (especially Americans) KNOW that- & ACT as if-the church is 'the building and the administration of its events.' The Seer says the church has 'gone lukewarm' and is being spit out of G*d's mouth. That--as prophecies have indicated will happen--G*d's 'church' is now only select members of all the various churches. As the pattern has always gone (since 'the Serpent & Eve in the Garden'), the new age starts with an enlightenment (whether it's a true one or a false one). Some get so addicted to the thrill of 'sharing the enlightenment' that THAT becomes the main practice ... not necessarily sharing any specific enlightenment, but more sharing 'new enlightenments (whatever they may be)'---which is where you find sort of a 'New Age'-Age But I look at this coming Age as The Age of the Prodigal Children ... not 'Prodigal, Soon to Return,' but rather "sent out by the Father to spread His Kindom" ... "Retaining Kingdom-citizenship * thus being separate" wherever they are---holding themselves to a godly standard although people around them still hold the Quid Pro Quo (you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours---oo-oo-oo-oo aah-aah-aah! ) standard.

As mankind advances in knowledge, mankind grows closer to God. There comes a point when the stories of holy books are seen for what they really are. As one grows up,one reaches for the higher level, leaving the stories behind. God's children as a whole always move forward. God is so much more than any holy book. There is more to discover outside the confines of holy books than are in them.

mythociate. You just must move beyond the stories. The diversity of language is a good thing which evolved over time among the peoples of the Earth. There are very good reasons this diversity exists. God is a Spiritual Being. Can you really reach Him physically or by building a tower?? Clearly, you have much to learn. The Reality of God is so much better than all those stories.

As happened in Babel ... `twas a 'magnificent' place--a place for which 'a tower to Heaven' was the next natural step!

Yes, church going does seem to be dying down, and many people seem to be making "prophecies" and "enlightenments" as you said. It seems silly to me that people try to make such profound predictions when we really don't know much of what is truly going to happen. For example, the 'prophet' who you heard on the news several times who predicted several raptures, of which none occurred (of course). Was it not made clear enough that none would know the day nor the hour? Anyways, I guess we will have to wait and see how things really turn out.

..that guy was pretty funny.. except for all the people who sent him a bunch of money.. why he needed it, I forget.. or the rationale of why he needed it.. something about the fallen church after all the 'good' Christians were gone I think.

Kind of a mixed-message there: Jesus said to 'be not troubled' by the signs that come before the end, but He gave us the Parable of the Brides---the five who were ready to go out to the Bridegroom, & the five who hadn't prepared enough lamp-oil to light their way to him. Kinda says 'don't worry about what you have to do until you have to do it, but be ready to do everything you might have to'

Yes flower, seems a bit strange that he needed money if the rapture was about to occur, doesn't it?

If someone reads their Bible enough they don't need prophets. Now that the common folk can read (are allowed to learn how to read!) I'm not one for trusting other people's ideas, prophecies, philosophies or usually even teachings! I'm all for educating myself and the New Testament is a very slim volume.

P.S - the Bible calls the post christian era, "the falling away" before which troublous times and return of Messiah to restore paradise (which man wrecked). Albeit God is in control, He chose to endow thinking ability, thus choice.. but hey, do would we really want to be robots or an ant farm? This life is a journey and lesson which is unavoidable (if there's to be rational creatures that is).

But I'm talking about the time for the people who DON'T fall away, who "endure to the end." Hey! Maybe THAT'S a good name for the next age: The Age of Endurance!

Yes,,hours, days, months,or yers even though we willnever know what will happen in the next day,the important thing is how we are to order our lives can be useful both for us and for others... do not have enough to do good and change, succes for to day and tomorrow.
