Does anyone live in Las vegas?

and how do you like it?
We've moved to Las Vegas for almost a year. We're finally settled down.
The best thing I like about here is there are parks like every mile in a nearby town called Henderson, each park has good features like baseball field, grass field, dog park etc. Besides, there're more family funs and events than I thought, when you stay off the strip, it's actually very residential and families activities here and there. And, I like the fact that the stores and everything are so close, it takes mostly 10-20 minutes drive time to get to the destination. So far, I like it a lot with our children.

I don't live there, but when I was there, I did think of what it would be like to live there.
I got to travel in my old job, and every time I go to a new town, I always think what it was like living in that place. And what the difference it would have as compared to where I lived.
If I lived near Vegas, I would imagine a lot of my friends crashing in our house to save on hotel stay.

Once you stay off the strip, it's actually more residential than you thought.

Though i really haven't live there before but i can do imagine how great it is for fun,i know it's amazing at night and people go there are crazy for fun.lol,anyway,just live at where you want,or just move around and it's your choice to make life great,isn't it?Good for you.

We don't get to experience the night out fun since we have two children but for families with children is actually not bad.

I live in Las Vegas and my parents live in Henderson. Randy and I have been a little over a year and we really do not like it all that much. The traffic is terrible and there are a lot of accidents. Randy grew up in the country (he and I lived in Idaho prior to here) and things were much cheaper and simple. We rarely go on the strip unless we have people visit us.

Yeah... we were moved from MA and the traffic lights are like 5 minutes wait each time, it's awful. My husband keeps telling me to be careful driving here in Vegas because of tourists coming from different countries, people staying up all night at the casino, things like that. We live in Henderson too.

IT's a tons of stuff to do here besides casinos like red rocks, the canyon, hoover dam etc. so it's not bad at all for a family.
