Once a time, I dreamed of traveling the world. I want to visit many countries, like America, Paris, England. Now I think the rate is very small, I'm a student, I don't have so much money, besides, I have many works to do, I really want to some places of other countries, and when I travel, I can learn about other cultures and made friends with people around the world, it's fansnating.

When I was aged 20 to 21 years old I was able to travel around the world. I had 1000 pounds to buy my airline ticket around the world. I traveled on Qantas and Virgin Atlantic. I went to California, Hawaii, Fiji, Australia, Sumatra, Singapore and Malaysia. I let my cottage out to get a monthly income and I got a working holiday visa for Australia. My fantastic trip of a lifetime lasted for just over one year. At age 28 years old I went to Western Australia and it was fantastic to spend more time in that amazing country. Then at age 29 years old between two teaching contacts I traveled to California, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, New Zealand and Samoa. That lovely trip lasted a few months. I came back from that trip really poor. Once I got my next teaching contract I was back traveling in the school holidays. My best trip happened when I was aged 34 years old. It was to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. I loved climbing the Mayan ruins, snorkeling in the Caribbean Sea and staying a couple of nights in a tree house. Good luck with your travel plans.

Now it is easier to travel than it was before. You can make your dreams come true if you work in that direction. Here, at mylot, you will get to know people and you will make some friends who have your same interests. Maybe you can go and visit them.

I am a sailor(Marine Engineer), visiting different countries is my job.During the days i was a student , i too had keen interest in traveling to different countries, may be that's why i chose this career.Although there are many people who travel as tourists too which is much better because you don't have the work load like we have, but that can be expensive.Best wishes.

Hi Lifan,
Your time will come, when you have the financial capability to go anywhere you want and looking forward maybe you might be able to get a job that will not only help you to travel but also to get you to work while abroad to right.

Keep your dream alive and it's just a matter of time before you make it happen. You need to work your best to achieve one small success after another. Small successes will accumulate and eventually reward you big financially. You can then travel the world. You can make it. Wish you all the best.

My best suggestion is to save your allowances and be updated with promo fares. If you're serious of travelling around the world, you must invest. Always save a part of your allowance, either a bank (so it can have an interest or additional increase) or in a piggy bank). Then with promo fares that can give you a lot of discounts to fly! Also, plan your travel. The most economic way is to travel out of peak seasons. Avoid festivals and special time of the year (New Year, Christmas) because rate is much higher. To practice, start by exploring your own country. Sometimes we want to see the world and the world's just around the corner. Good luck!

Traveling is fascinating indeed as long as you have the money and the heart to be adventurous. I like to travel, see new places and meet new people. But i have a husband and a son. If we travel the world, the three of us, it would be too expensive.
Someday when i have a lot of extra money, i would love to see Europe.

Travelling is one of the most amazing experiences ever. Study hard and earn a lot of money. You'll then get to go to far away places you dreamed of. Till then, make most of what you've got. Visit places in your country, meet new people, try their cuisines. Make most of it. Cheers!
