last night my dad told me about his friend who was very dear to him, i had seen him only once when i was very small and hence was curious to know where he is and what was he up to these days. but my dad said that he is no more and do not wanted to discuss about him anymore.
I forced him to tell me in detail and he said that he was a good human being and was earning good during his earlier days and was a regular visitor to our house. When he got a posh job in another city he moved there. one day he invited our family and my dad was shocked to see the changes in him, he was drinking and smoking all the time, he was spending money like anything and mostly on girls at the bars which was shocking, he was beating his wife and was not paying attention to his children, was having an extra marital affair and much more. His business soon took a dip due to his negligence and he had huge debts slowly. The result was that he took anti depressants and took medicines not recommended for any human being. within few days he left all of us forever. so my dad said that he was very much angry on him for his notorious ways and in spite of constantly telling him not to do this, he never paid heed to my father and he had this fate. i regret loosing him and not being able to see him.
What r your thoughts about this guys? Do u have any such experiences? Why do people change so easily? Do share with us.

As others would say, MONEY IS THE ROOT Of EVIL. But that is only true if a person do not know the value of money and neglect his family in exchange for everything that money can buy.

Hi
I agree we should rule the money , the money should not rule us.If we give the chance then this will be the fate.

@jenny1015-
Yes u are absolutely right, we all have money but it is very important to know the value of each penny otherwise money would start controlling over us and by the time we realize it would be very very late just like my dad's friend. he could have enjoyed his life in a better way but he had a different fate.

Money, money ,money, All of these were happend because of wealth.Maybe he is very good now if he is not very wealthy.
But, I think we have to have a good babit and faith.We should be rich of our life if we have much money. He could travel round the word taking together with his wife and kids,it will bring much chances for his business and get much knowledges from other countries.

Yes dear u are right, but he is no more and as u said he could have wasted his money for good by traveling with his family but instead he chose the wrong way and he dig a tunnel for himself. Money has never spared anyone and hence we have to be very careful regarding this.

People do change but it's so sad when good people turns bad.
People may changed due to different influences- by friends and environment.
Experiences also made a person changed.
Sorry to hear about your dad's friend- sorry that he wasted his life.

Yes u are absolutely right, it is pathetic when good people turn villains in their life as they become the sole reason of destroying their own life, i feel so bad for him we could have lived many more years and spent beautiful moments with his family but instead he never listened to anyone and see where he landed in the end.

Hmm that's really sad. people do change after getting lot of money. This should be a lesson to many people who are in the path. I dont have any such experience but heard such stories from friends.

Yes u are absolutely right, people do change whenever they get power money and position in their hands and it is when their bad days starts but the day they realize about this it becomes too late. i know this should be the lesson for all those people who have misused their money and power.
