Do you believe in Ghosts?

There are always lots of programmes on TV and new films in the cinema that deal with the subject of ghosts and haunted places, but do they really exist? I've been in many a situation where I've felt a cold, chilling "presence" in the air, but I've never actually seen anything. I've met and talkied to several people who have seen ghosts, my first wife was adament that she went into her father's kitchen one day and was faced by a Civil War soldier who had disappeared through a locked door when she returned with her parents. A work colleague of mine once told me of a time when he was waiting in his car to collect his daughter from a nearby party and he saw and heard a group of people approaching across a nearby field. The next time he looked, they had gone but he couldn't see anywhere they could have gone to. So what do you think, are ghosts real or just a scam for certain people to make money?
