I just heard in the news this afternoon that there could be a possibility of having heat wave here in our country. A temperature of 41 degrees celsius might be registered this summer season. That is really too much. I just hope it will not happen. Good day mylotters!

Well that is really high since at 38 it is already unbearable what more if you add a couple of degree I think that would be worse for everybody. Good thing for me I am in an office and I could not feel the heat outside and when I am done with work the temperature is much bearable already. But still when you get home the heat can still be felt.

I agree with you. Just like yours, I am a bit lucky since I am working inside and air-conditioned office. However, there are still chances that I need to go outside and look for something. This makes my head aches.

Hi asdomencil, Is 41 debree C a record in your country? If it is then you can expect more unpleasant weather due to this heat wave. Many people especially the poor will suffer heatstroke and dehydration. I think the best thing to do is to stay indoors and work when the sun comes down. Have a good day.

I think avoiding the peak of the heat is a great idea. Just like what you said, there will be more people in our country that will really affected by the heat wave. Hopefully it will not happen here.

Hi, Heat wave is not good news, it may result to lots of deaths for those who are sick and susceptible to high temperature. Forty one may be possible but it could only happen in urban centers with a lot of pavement and buildings in close proximity. In the countryside with many trees around, it could only register a thirty one at most. One reason to go out of the cities this summer to scape the intense heat. Our place, being in the suburbs, is still relatively cool even during noontime, there are still some trees that offer their shades, small patches of refuge from the sun, coupled with the summer breeze that stir the leaves every now and then, it is still a livable place.

I guess yu are correct. Pavements and other concrete structures adds to the amount of heat in the environment especially asphalt roads. Like in our place where I reside, that temperature might not attain since there are still trees and plants in the village. Though it is really hotter compared few years back.

a few days ago, i think it registered 38.+C in isabela. 41 won't surprise me at all. unless there would be a sudden raining that we will experience which is kind of almost impossible.

Good thing that the other rain poured. It helps reducing the intense temperature. I just hope that the rain will pour even every afternoon.
