i really don't like how our current mayor runs the city hall. she's so epal putting her name on the bags and uniforms given tot he public school students. i am also irritated to see how she painted the whole city pink. she also discriminates against the people who she believes still supports the former administration. i remember she didn't give the funds to our barangay (including the salary of the barangay employees) just because our captain is affiliated with the other party. until our captain was "forced" to jump to her camp.
and first of all, there are cheating allegations thrown at her. of all the candidates in the local elections in 2010 from the councilors to the congressmen in the to districts, she's the only one who won from the other party.
i'm from taguig city by the way.

According to one poster if you don't like your government then move but I say stick around and see if you can improve it. I have a feeling you may have less freedom to say what you want than we do.

i'm a very sentimental person. i've had a lot of memories here, good and bad and a lot of my friends. i wouldn't be me today without this place.

that's actually what i want to say. just because she's the wife of a "respected" senator she can be the mayor.

I hope the people in your town will finally wake up and see the corruptness of the re-electionist mayor.
Usually incumbent officials always win. That's because the already have made a niche of people who were given favors , so they will also return the favor.

she had a few projects that are not really hers but of the former administration. i guess that's really her advantage.

For me the way you explained to us the character of your Mayor, she is too bad to be a Mayor I think she a descendant of a hoodlum if not a hoodlums by herself with no etiquette for sportsmanship.

well, she's really a politician in it's purest definition, not a public servant.

That is the problem during election, our government don't take an action on how to stop those kind of political tactics. They established different laws without implementing it. I think the citizen of your region should cooperate to make complaint about this and let the Supreme Court to decide. If the complaint is not scandalous or not hear by many Filipinos,Officials do not an take any actions.

but the wheel of justice is really slow. besides some laws have loopholes that intelligent politicians can go around that's why they are not really punished.

I would re-elect a person like that , too. It is pretty obvious how she wanted to manipulate the funds as well as the people for her own benefit.

yes, i agree with you. politics should only be dirty during the election period. but after the elections, she should have tried to work with the other local officials whether allies or not because the people depends on her.

Hi,
If people see the bad things like you did, your mayor won't be occupying the office after the elections, it is that simple. I don't believe voters are not intelligent enough to vote for a bad person, there shall always be something good they shall see and the only indication of it is by giving her another term in office.
