ASUS laptop False advertising?

I have an ASUS K53SM laptop which has a feature called Icecool ( keeps palm Rest cool) . This feature was supposed to keep the palm rests cool but in my case it gets heated up like in 15 mins even if the system is in idle. There is also no cpu usage. Is this a false advertisement as in many ads they claim that it keeps palm rests cool. Well, I expected for atleast a mormal temperature but it becomes hot in no time
