From the Highest High to the Lowest Ridiculous Low

Yesterday it was 80 degrees outside. And then last night we got freezing rain and snow! What the heck?! There is no snow on the ground here now where I am, but it is still freezing cold outside. After an 80 degree day! The swift change in weather always causes some problems for people, a lot of them I think, is allergies. Sometimes I get sinus headaches, but a lot of the time the change of the weather jut makes me achy (arthritis). What does the change in weather do to you?

I remember when I was in Mexico it seemed so hot. But maybe it was the humidity making it feel so hot to me?

I am so sorry that extreme changes of temperature makes you sick. I do not have that problem at all but as probaby all of mylot knows that I hate the cold. Always cold in my childhood and it has scarred me for life.My memores are of always being cold and bribing my sister to cuddle me for warmth I do hope that the allergies and the arthritis get better soon.

I would love to be able to tour my MyLot world and see many people and places. I would come see you and make a beeline to help Mariaperalta move before August. I have gone to see AmbiePam one time as she lives near my family and I have visited a few others. We have some really beautiful days, but this is not one of them.

This fast drastic change seems to have really depressed me and yes there seems to be some allergy or sinus issue going on as well. Not only did we get what you guys sent our way, we also got what blew on in from Denver.

The big thing for me was the rapid change in the whole scene. It is not really that cold, and it was kind of funny to remove a shell of ice from the car piece by piece because I had to take my sister to pick up prescriptions. I tried to get in touch with her Monday to arrange to do it, but never did. So she called me before I was out of bed this morning otherwise I would have just stayed home all day. I am sad because I am pretty certain this will keep my fruit trees from producing and I had a ton of daffodils blooming and tulips just starting.

So it's not just me that gets depressed. Good to know. Rainy days don't do it to me by themselves. It's the rapid changes and then the misery of all the bad kind of weather mixing in one storm.

I know what you're talking about. We've had the cold nights but the really warm days. I feel like I'm living in the desert...I might as well. I never know what to wear anymore so I just take a jacket along with me. Yesterday though I have to say was a really pretty day and was warm enough to wear short sleeves and no jacket. I was over my daughters and we were able to sit outside till evening and it was soooooooooo great! It does bother my arthritis, if that's what I got, when the weather is cold and damp..ugh. That's when I ache. And sinus problems are all winter. There is no end. I think I want to move to Hawaii.

Happens here all the time. Thankfully it has no effect on me physically.. although it can impact my mood and desire to do anything.

Sounds like our Colorado weather. When it is real warm one day and then drops to cold temps at night I have a problem getting warm. I should be used to it as long as I have been in Colorado. I have seen times when I would be wearing at-shirt and shorts during the day then it would get below zero at night.

This area is known for its abrupt changes in temperature and weather, but the last one was extreme. On Monday, I soaked in the sun in 73 degree weather. Tuesday, we had a mild blizzard and it got down to 12 degrees last night. It's been snowing all afternoon today but not any more accumulation. The ground is too warm, I guess.

It also makes me (more) achy (fibro). Gives the roomie headaches. Gives the other roommate a chance to complain, she's never given any specifics...

At least EVERY thing doesn't have a down side like it was with the roommate who left last summer. TOO hot, TOO cold, TOO wet, TOO dry, TOO windy, TOO still...

Hello Ambie Pam. Yesterday here there was so sunshine and it was at the hottest 11 degrees C. It led some people to believe that we would have a fantastically sunny and warm weekend. Today had been colder with lots of showery rain. In March and the beginning of April it was cold, windy and not at all like spring. It was more like winter. I hate the weather constantly changing and it can give me sinus headaches and make me feel tired. It was rainy on the way the school to collect my son. My favorite weather is sunny, warm, dry and not at all windy.

Wow that is quite a difference. From 80 to freezing and snow is a drastic change. I have bad allergies when the season changes. This Spring we really have a big problem with pollen and it has taken its toll on me. I do get a bit achy when it gets colder or when it rains. Old age is beginning to set in on me. I hope it warms up for you!

hi dearest Ambie these weather changes are really tiring me out. It has become warm din the last few days and I did the most important grocery shopping today as I had the day off but I am tired out after that bit of shopping for sure. I know that it will get colder soon over the weekend hope no rain though.

It was pretty chilly here this morning. The wind was bitterly cold. It makes me want to go crawl back under the covers and sleep, as my sinuses go crazy.

i have fibromyalgia and it makes me achy when the weather is not the best. we have had some crazy weather here where i am too. today it is supposed to be freezing rain and though on last Sunday, it was 16c (20c is 70f) so our weather is crazy here too. there is a saying in German that says April can do what it wants to (weather wise) and i always think about how true that is. last year around this time the temps were well into the 80s as well.

Well here in the middle of the country it is low 40s as I type this. We got the line of thunderstorms through here last evening but missed the tornadoes that struck in some counties around us. My sinus was all plugged this morning when work called and wanted me to work the lunch period. My shoulder aches as well as my back. But weather is predicted to warm back into the 70s in a day or so and then I'm going fishing, would plant some garden but the ground is too wet and muddy.

Lately it has been really nice here, no crazy weather changes. Thank God! I hope the weather calms down for you! :) When the weather goes crazy like that at times we all end up getting really sick...
