I have suspected people have lost their jobs over this, but nothing can be proven. If a company wants to get rid of someone they generally can find a way. Yes they did set up laws to protect whistle blowers because sometimes telling the truth can cause a lot of trouble for a company.

no never. It takes a lot for me to blow a whistle on anyone and at that point..they darn well know it is me. I have only done it once and oddly the girl I did it on asked me if I did. I told her that I did and she still told me that I was one of her closest friends. I never understood that one but she had more than fair warning before i opened my mouth...she was jepardizing MY job with what she was doing which is why I opened my mouth. I don't know why she even considrs me a friend after that but she does. I did warn her a lot prior to saying anything. Long story but I knew that it was going to be apparent that I was turning my head t0 some stuff she was doing which would have made me guilty also. i asked her several times not to come in and do stuff on my shift and thene she continued. yep finally blew the whistle and felt horrible doing so. I was angry that I was put in that spot and she knew it
