everytime i ask myself what i want to be, i always answer "i wanna be a rockstar, a performer, a composer, a singer, an artist!" I took up engineering because i think it is cool. and right now, i am graduating! thank God! but ever since, i haven't stopped doing musical stuff. i keep singing in my band, having gigs, and creating songs. i love Music. it is like a big part of me. and although i am an engineering student, i want to work in the field of music. we can't really escape our passion. :D

That's true, follow your passions and see where it will take you. It's even better that you have a good education to back you up. You might even combined both to have successful career and life.

My goodness, it's not that I don't appreciate your BR vote, but you are giving it out way too soon in only 10 minutes after you posted your topic. You should have waited longer to give chances for other responses to come. I think it was even suggested to wait at least a week before awarding BR...

It is good that you have graduated engineering, and did it because you like it your self, and not because your parents liked it for you, or something like that. That is probably why you were able to finish it, in spite of your passion for music. I always think that you are limited by your self, so when you say you can't do music when you're in school, then you can't. It's good in your case that you were able to due those two things. But, I get it that music is really your passion, so go for it! What's cooler than a musician who's an engineer? I had a professor who was a lawyer, but still sang at a bar just because he really loved it, and was really good at it. Sexy as hell!!!
