Hi myLotters. Need your advice. My 1-year old daughter always wakes up every night crying for milk. Sometimes, she will go back to sleep after I give her milk. Sometimes, she is fresh wanting to play with me. Hence, I don't have enough sleep or I don't sleep well as I have to wake up to attend to her.
Is this normal ? I always take afternoon naps just to pay back my sleep.
If you experience the same and managed to get your kid to sleep all the way till morning without waking up, how do you do it ?

Does your daughter have enough movements during day time? I've read that having more movements is not only good for the child, but also letting the child have better sleep at night. I am not sure if this works for 1 year old child, it works for my 4 year old son. When my son has more movements (run, jump, walk), then he behaves better and also sleeps better at night.

Hello happylife,
It happens with every kid but there are certain things you should keep in mind. First thing is don't let your baby sleep more in day otherwise its likely that she will not sleep in night. Always make a schedule that your baby sleeps with you at night and should always feed her before letting her sleep. I think these will be helpful for you.

I went through that with my kid's too, it is normal. And as long as you allow it to continue it will...
I stopped doing naps during the day once they would not sleep at night... Also, I would make sure they do plenty of activities during the day to make them tired at night. If their not getting enough exercise or too much sleep during the day, they won't sleep at night...

my granddaughter would do this, all the time when I use to keep her, she would wake up 5a.m wanting her bottle, I would give it to her, and she would lay back down, with here bottle and go back to sleep, I had to do this every night, when I use to keep her, but now that she is about to turn 2, I think her sleeping patterns have changed.
