Have you had trouble accessing Google lately?

I have used Google a lot over the years to do general searching online. I usually do several searches a day even for routine items. Recently, however,I have had trouble accessing it at night around 11 PM. The connection doesn't go through and I've actually been forced to use Bing which I have tried to avoid. I would almost think it was a Microsoft conspiracy except that I use Chrome as my browser. I am wondering if this is a problem with my system or if anyone else is having the same trouble. I am on the east coast of the US which I think puts my access problem at around 4 AM GMT.
